Awesome hunt you guys! I'm 17 and I love this stuff more than anything. This same experience happened to me last year in Virginia, we called a bird across the James River and up a steep slope. Great callin Matt.

Great hunt! I am guessing this was late in the year? Often I see gobblers do this crazy stuff when the hens are getting thin...Great hunt man...

@chriswallswvu It was about mid way through the season ... perfect timing ... not to late, not to early. The river was 400+ yards across ... that's about a quarter of a mile plus ... needless to say, we were pumped. Best of luck this season buddy.
