  • The only word i understood in that last song was situation.

  • that's not "c4 physics". that's just something like Newton Game DYnamic.. A free physics API...

  • Thanks for pointing that out. I completely forgot to make clear that this is Bullet, and not the upcoming C4 Engine Physics.

    It is fixed now.

  • what movie maker did you use for this ....???

  • Sony Vegas

  • damn this is great

    keep it up

  • Awesome as always Aqua !

Never mind the muppits ... they don't have the IQ to understand anything other than a level with artificial health, unlimited ammo and something to kill ... as totally unrealistic and silly as it all is.

  • These are some of my first levels I have ever created. Of course there shit. But everyone begins with something. A simply fact is that of course a kid is not going to be able to make a game. It does not require skill, but time. How could I possibly be able to create good gameplay when I have hardly had a chance to touch C++?

I did not randomnly create my levels. With jenga pieces and dominoes I create structures before hand and then go round to copying that exctly in C4.

  • hey is that realtime? and what are ur specs?

  • It is realtime. The recent builds are a lot faster and I get around 30fps of the very heavy maps.

Here are my specs (copied directly from my sig): CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.4GHz

    Memory: 4GB of DDR2 800MHz

    Graphic Card: GeForce 9800GTX 512MB

OS: Windows Vista - Home Premium SP1 64-bit

A Gefore 8600GTS is capable at playing the levels at a playable rate. Also 64bt is not required. 2GB of RAM should do fine.

  • you got a helluva beasty pc man!

  • If you have seen any of my latest videos you will see that I am not a "script kiddy".

The first thing that shows me your personality is you channel comments you are not a very intellectual person to begin with. You are not liked by people.

May I ask what you have done that is any better than my work?

  • You sound like a complete idiot, congratulations.

  • Most of us who use C4 could code our own engine if we had the time and patience to do so. But as us hackers always say, if there's a problem already solved, why fix it again? Why reinvent the wheel? And what exactly have you made Chester? Something better than this? I doubt it. Prove me wrong.

  • how do i make a custom map?

  • Same, just check th response to the Sphere flood map.

  • C4 Engine is my favorite engine.

  • Can C4 do vehicle physics?

  • Yes it can but you have to program everything yourself if I am correct.

I heard that there is a racing game being made with C4. I made ky own little vehicle except for its not drivable.

  • "Yes it can but you have to program everything yourself if I am correct."

What does it mean? You say "Yes" and "You have to do it yourself" ???

  • You get the source with the c4 engine license. The physics shown here are custom implementations of physx and bullet into the engine. Basically, if you know how to program you can do anything, and any physics each particular physics implementation supports.

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't really thinking logically when I was replying.

  • No, I do not own a PPU, yet. Plus was back then when I was still using Bullet.

  • Where can I get this tech demo? the one on the current site doesn't have those tests

  • This isn't a tech demo, this is all custom made.

  • Sorry, wrong account. :P

  • I will make a video Tutorial that will include all of the basics in Map-Making in C4. It will be ready in 3 or 4 weeks or maybe even less.

  • i have c4 engine and i can´t do that

    how do you do it??

  • Early version of Bullet. They have inproved alot know.

  • l ock like crap tho bozex flying in the air !this physics sucks!

  • No, that was when I did not yet indegrate PhysX yet. In this video it is using Bullet.

  • PhysX physics ?

  • Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83Ghz

    2GB Ram

    Geforce 7600 GS 256MB

Windows XP: Media Center Edition 2005 SP2

  • What specs are these running on?
