This is a pretty good remix, but the drums and main guitar bother me. Also, the notes are cut short starting around 1:00 that are supposed to go on longer. The guitar is no where standing-out enough and the drums need a lot of work. Otherwise, it's very well done and I like just about every thing else.

I'm inclined to agree, especially given the amount of remixes of this tune out there, that despite being one of the most popular, is pretty hard to rearrange without discarding what makes it good in the first place. It starts out metal, goes sort of childish down the middle, what with all the xylophone and pipe organs rapid fire melody, then goes all medieval/epic toward the end. You mess too much with that combination and it ends up detracting, i think, so yeah, it's not an easy tune.

What, me? Well i allways thought this tune was half metal, half orchestra, with some kindergarden along the middle. It also seems to upscale as it goes along, those pipe organs in particular sounding like they're being played in some large area. Your arrangement sounds a tad more confined. I though it was great that you made the guitar sound grittier for one, gives the tune more strenght. As for the rest... seems kinda smaller somehow, you know?
