Whoever gave me a thumbs down for my comment, has obviously not ever watched FOX 5 because they're always screwing up. Doing things like shuffling papers loudly and technical errors on a regular basis and talking about the most choicest of things like a child without any sense. They are very immature, I really don't mind watching any news in San Diego or America except this channel and FOX News HQ....both are really stupid. I apologize, but I don't mind getting more (-) for this it needs address

This version of the "Fox 5 News" box is actually similar now to the HD boxes rolled out on the Fox O&Os. Not the ones sold to Local TV - they still have first-generation graphics.

I hand it to KSWB. They did a very good job of creating a similar graphics package while maintain creative license... to an extent. (New Fox affil KBTV in Beaumont went a similar route.)

All the Fox openings are the same, there are little variations, but I like the opening, but the newscast SUCKS Bring back KSWB 5/69!

Fox 11 KTTV Los Angeles has that same logo and music.

nope. Fox 5's graphics package was done by Hothaus, not in house. It's based off the same logo, but VERY different delivery. Animated spotlights, different size, etc. etc. 5's is much nicer.

it says imitation of the O&O Graphics... he never said THEY were an O&O. I actually like these...they're more crisp & less cluttered/complicated than the O&O GFX. Bolder, Deeper colors too.

I heard HD and SD both had audio problems. The graphics are nice. Nice variation of the Fox O&O graphics. I think Tribune wants this to be more like a Fox O&O than a non O&O.

There was no audio comming out this morning, I wonder if the audio could only be heard through a HI-DEF, TV.

But about 45 minutes later there was sound.
