I think this anime has one of the worst and repetitive songs I've ever heard in my life. Plus "sound of bounce your way now" just sounds so stupid but they keep saying it over and over. Slam Dunk's opening song is so much better than this. That said, the anime itself isn't bad, even if it is a bit bland (colors, stories, characters) compared to Slam Dunk.

actually there's one thing that slam dunk is better in, its the comedy factor i mean i fall off my chair laughing like every 2 seconds but then again the quality isnt that great since it was aired in 1996 i think

so id say "hoop days" would be allot better if they added a little comedy to it, it has a great storyline tho

Don't friggin' compair this with Slam Dunk. This anime is really good and it's only 26 episodes so seriously.. no comparison with Slam Dunk which is like 100 episodes.

Geez people, grow up! You either talk about the video - which just happens to be Dear Boys Opening, or just go say your crappy opinions about how Slam Dunk is better than this somewhere else - because no one apparently cares.
