  • Harvy Dent: NO, NOT ME, WHY ARE YOU COMING FOR ME!! NOOOOOO RACHEL

  • I'm Not A Hero is the best of them all. Hans Zimmer is a genius.

  • Agent of Chaos, Introduce a Little Anarchy, and A Watchful Gaurdian are my favorites.

  • I just want my phone call.

  • Do you why I use a knife?

  • One of my Top 3 of this album, along with "Like A Dog Chasing Cars" and "Watch The World Burn".

  • a couple of days ago i bought the dark knight album thanks to opus 289 but still I like batman begins album better

  • Joker - "How many dislikers have I killed?"

Detective - "I'm a 20 year man, I know the difference between punks and the freaks like you who just enjoy it. And you killed 6 dislikers."

    Joker - "*mouths* Six?!"

  • @TheOneWithTheHair1 That's honestly the best "killing dislikers" comment I've ever seen.

  • Just WOW so amazing im going on itunes right now

  • 6 ppl experienced a magic trick

  • thumbs up if you think they should just sell DC comics to chirstopher nolan. lol.

  • brilliant soundtrack

  • God iv been looking for this one! sick!

  • whenever Rachel says "Harvey it's okay. Listen. Somewhe-", it always sounds like she's going to starting singing, "Somewheeerrrree over the rainbow!"..lol

  • In the script for the movie, when Batman walks in and finds Harvey, he realizes Joker lied so he was going for Rachel actually

  • @Legacy0901

Right. But once he got there, he couldn't allow himself to just leave Dent. Could you imagine?

*Batman bursts through the door* "Rachel???"

    *sees Dent* "You're not Rachel."

    *slams door*

  • @DestructiveMomoKing that would be hilarious

  • @Ploiken Yeah It Would Actually Be Prettyyy Funny Mate Hahaha

  • @DestructiveMomoKing

Harvey looks at Batman: Get in back her asshole

  • i want this song played when i am in some sort of hurry!

  • 4:20-4:43 best parts.

  • 4:10 nice!!

  • I forgot to say, that this was the rebirth of Two Face.

  • I like the one with the strings where Harvey has Gordon's family

I'm also excited for the third (and last) title of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, "The Dark Knight Rises"

  • Gordon-"which one are you going for?"

    Batman-"Rachel"

Batman-"Fu**, where did I put my keys?"

  • @117MasterSpartan I don't understand why Batman said he would go after Rachel then went after Harvey instead, and then suddenly it was Gordon who was supposed to save Rachel

  • @00Kakkoi00 joker just lied and told batman the wrong place, because he knew BM would go for rachel .

    thats my theroy :D

  • @TheDudeHurley lol...yeah it was even funny how he told them in the right order first then switched it.

  • @00Kakkoi00 Because the joker switched the two places around. he confused batman.

  • @00Kakkoi00 The Joker lied.

  • @00Kakkoi00 the joker switched them so thaht no matter what choice batman made , it would be the wrong one. it was a mindfuck for batman

  • *Start up tredmill*

    *Play this song*

    *Sprint across Gotham's rooftops*

    ????

    *Profit!*

  • 10 people dont have plans and just do things

  • hehe, just saw Batman Forever on cable yesterday (well parts of it).. and then comparing it to Nolan's masterpieces, i just shake my head in silence. What else can one say??

  • @bitt555 that the old ones are crap for children and the nolan films are the ones we adults deserve ;) how can anyone like the jack nicholson joker when you've seen heath ledger's one. the only thing i still like about the old ones is the soundtrack , that was pretty nice but the new ones by hans zimmer i like alot more :)

  • i loved the soundtrack, but this track is definetely one of my favourite parts

  • I was so crazy looking for this song, from Batma The Dark Knight.

  • opus is a youtuber very epic with great song of best films !!

  • @SanctifyXu Tom Hardy is gonna be Bane.

  • The only thing that ruins the film for me is the replacement actress for Racheal. She doesn't look ANYTHING like the one from Batman Begins. (And the other one would have fit a lot better in this!)

  • The most sad and intense scene in TDK.

  • its funny how the highest rated comment is untrue, lets get another comment up there

  • best is at 4:21 AMAZING

  • favorite line in that whole show. Joker in the hospital "...Hiii..."

  • @dancefool68 Agreed, I love how he just sits, smiles and says that.

  • @dancefool68

Chris Nolan (The writer and director of the movie) told in an interview that his favorite line in the movie was also, when the Joker in the hospital said: "Hi".

  • @Sergeantspoon Hey! I guess great minds think alike :D haha just kiddin.

  • Bane is going to be in the next one, that's already confirmed.

  • God. Is it bad to cry over music?

  • @Janneinwonderland at this epicness level, no, it isnt at all my friend

  • I couldn't find the Love button so I had to click Like.

  • 4:08 !!!!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!!!

  • The Joker, Two-face, and Maroni really loves this damn song.

  • At the beginning of this one, you can sort of hear his priates of the caribbean coming through! Love Zimmer

  • 4:06-4:43

My favorite soundtrack moment of all time. Christ.

  • Damn I love this tune. It so reminds me of myself - powerful, cool, amazing etc :)

  • @BrandonRhea Oh, my. One of the best reasoning I ever saw for making Batman 3. Even though we all know how Nolan likes toying with his audiences, we also DO know now that Batman 3 IS going to happen. My expectations are also for some hope and light in Bruce's life/Batman's story. (My personal wish that Gordon learns of Batman's true identity, I just can't help it.)

  • Harvey and Rachel somehow remind me of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Two gotham couple's, who were killed tragicly.

  • you can sense the urgency, the suspense, the sadness, and the pain in this song...

  • Do you know why I use a knife, guns are to quick you can't savour all those little moments, cause in that moment people show you who they really are, you might say I knew your friends better then you ever did, want to know which of them were cowards

  • "-rrrrre over the rainbow....."

  • "No! Noooo! Why are you coming for me? Nooooo! Rachel! Nooooo! Noooo! Rachel! Noooo! Noooo!"

    "Harvey it's okay. Listen. Somewhe-"

    "Rachel! Noooo! AHHHHHHHHH"

The extremely crazy music and then complete SILENCE really puts you in the mood of the film

  • @THEFIRSTAVENGERUSA

Rachel is also like Okay.. Its ok BOOM BITCH

  • 3:46 "I Just Want my phone cell ! ?"

  • It's funny. I am listening to this while I'm writing my cultural study paper of the movie, Sleepy Hollow, for my college film class and it is keeping me focused! Yesterday, I was having huge writer's block . Now today, I'm actually focused! It just shows that Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard are huge inspirations to us all! I absolutely love this music and all the other music Hans Zimmer has made for other movies, like for Inception. Wonderful music!

    5/5 STARS!

  • @spikefaye4ever this is the music I listen to to get homework done. Works like a charm!

  • HOw can I get this. This is awesome !

  • @llamaninja100

Amazon the Cd, itunes the download, or be cheap & find a torrent. Plenty of options.

  • This soundtrack is so dramatic! Thank you for getting it!

  • @qwuezalothus You're Welcome!

  • This part in the movie was so sad!

  • BLACK MASK

  • 4:09 - 4:44 & 5:32

  • if they do the riddler, jim carrey is my vote. im willing to bet he can match the craziness needed

  • @praetorian2150 Honestly, Jim Carrey kinda kills it for me.

  • @KillerNWA, i know wat u mean but hey i had that same impression for heath as riddler and look at the job he did :)

  • @praetorian2150 I like Jim Carrey, and yes, he is crazy. But, in a different way as The Joker should be. A good Joker is sadistic, completely mental, just... Insane, Jim Carrey has got a happy/funny kind of crazyness, and I think Nolan isn't looking for that.

  • @lennyistheman, im with yah, however. who knew heath ledger would put out such a performance. so in all, anyone can literally into anything if the right motivators are there. so we'll see but its gonna be good anyway its cut :)))

  • @praetorian2150

They already used him in another Batman though...I'd have to say either Johnny Depp, Will Ferrell, or Robin Williams.

  • @MrEdwardMccoy11, ohhhhhh nice choices. i could see ferrell or williams pulling off something devious

  • @praetorian2150

    Yeah same here!

  • I just noticed the Danny Elfman homage in this track. The deep horns from 4:09 to 4:22.

  • 4:09-4:44 = fucking epic

  • 4:20 , 5:31

  • If you introduce a bit 'of anarchy ... if you upset the established order ... suddenly everything becomes chaos. I am an agent of chaos. And you know the beauty of chaos? It is fair!

  • 5:33.

  • I want them to bring back Arnie as Mr Freeze. Especially with all his funny jokes.

  • @redplague HAHAHA

  • @redplague They would never bring back freeze. Nolan Confirmed it. Even if they did he would be a dark edgy man nothing but depressed. There would not be any jokes.

  • @mandmfilms2010 Thank god for that.

  • @Emidretrauqe I read its being released 2012

  • if heath ledger were still alive they could have used Harley Quinn for the next movie. =/ oh well they could probably use the penguin or black mask or somethin. thought they'll proly end up using the riddler at some point

  • the whole soundtrack is amazing!!

  • If they intend to use the riddler next movie, I'd really love to see David tennant spinning that "?" cane! He makes a great villian, after all look at Barty crouch Jr. Plus, his crazy - energetic - scholaticaly superior - deducing - psychotic characters he has played before were nothing short of brilliant! He could definately be a villianous freak!

  • @jsnugglesbb390 hes everything thing you could want in the riddler perfect body type etc. he better audtion at least so he can blow them away with his performance. if he isnt even taken into consideration theres something seriously wrong with casting people these days

  • I'm glad the new movies aren't so cartoony. I hated that! Because, even if it was originally a comic, it wasn't meant for kids. The story really is very dark! As most adult comics are.

I really like this song because it has little piece of each main theme in the movie. Although the one part of the beginning (:30) was originally from "batman begins", when rachel wakes up in her apartment. But, thats what makes the diversity of this track awsome!

  • @jsnugglesbb390 youre right. I have heard the beginning of this ost in batman begins, when Bruce wayne is trapped in his house burning and Alfred comes to save him.

  • Jim Carrey really did good as the riddler but then, some can do better. i hope. Good luck to the next sequel.

  • @neogaiden He did good, but so did tommylee jones...and jack nicholson...but they had a good "light" style to the characters....with these new films they have taken a more darker slant and i dont think carey would be able to pull it off....then again...i dont think depp would either....

  • And was made alot smarter

  • 4:21 I LOVE IT!!! SO DRAMATIC!!!

  • OMG at 4:07

  • So sad at 5:32...

  • Does anyone know the name of the music when Two-face has The detectives family at gunpoint at the end of the movie?

  • it's "Watch The World Burn", okay?^^

  • the birth of two face

  • imagine the very plot of a possible 3rd movie featuring Bane

The prologue could be a massive Arkham Asylum breakout just like in the beginning of Knightfall and Batman would proceed to face a crazed killer leaving Riddles and a couple of other maniacs, maybe Zsazz or Mad hatter, and after a hide and seek game of wits, the mastermind being Bane would arise and crash Bruce in his own home

  • @tapantatoualefantou

the new batman movies are a more realistic approach to the comics. Since Bane would be hard to convey into a realistic character, they wouldn't do it. The riddler however, as a obsessive compulsive person, would work out very well.

  • so could zsasz, as a serial killer

  • Zsasz was actually in Batman Begins albeit briefly and was released with the other inmates from arkham.

  • Nobody notices... but he's there

  • The Riddler could potentially be a pretty dark character if you just focus on his obsession over riddles and killing people in strange ways... if they did it with The Joker they could do it with him surely

  • Actually, the joker was already a dark character, he's just less comical in this movie.

  • @shazam679 Hell, he's both in the movie XD but yeah... he's much darker in the movie methinks

  • @HLimmen Since when is a man in a bat suit fighting crime ever realistic? :P i agree Riddler would be a good choice.

  • @HLimmen Yeah, thats true, but I think realism is such an overestimated term. In the end reality would strech so far it can even forbid a man in a batcostume to seem truthful, but otherwise I totally agree with you.

  • @HLimmen

Well, tell that to Christopher Nolan, cause the villains in the next movie are Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy).

  • @HLimmen Bane is in the next movie

  • @HLimmen That's kind of funny, as Tom Hardy is playing Bane in Dark Knight Rises!

  • @davisstdude yeah i never expected that. It will be interesting to see how such an outlandish character will fit into the style of the new Batman films but I have confidence in Nolan to pull it off.

  • @jomo999 Definitely. Nolan is the master.

  • @HLimmen you've propably this but the riddler won't be in the next one it's Tom Hardy and he's going to play Bane (F.Y.I. Bane is my favourite Batman villian, reason HE BROKE BATMANS BACK)

  • @HLimmen im sure u know by now they are doing bane

  • @HLimmen Nolan found a good way to portray Scarecrow and Joker. Why not Bane?

  • @HLimmen They already confirmed that bane was going to be in the next film, they'll probably redo him so he doesn't have tubes of super steroids being pumped into him.

  • @S4disticJ0k3r personally i kinda hope they will go for the arkham asylum look for bane, but thats just me

  • @uluafisher068 no way in hell there gonna do that! the game is like the comics and nolan does not want his movies to be like the comics , he wants a "realistic" world so thaht would never be in the movie.. check on the internet and you will see what he looks like

  • @japman17 from a comment written 7 months ago :P but yeah, ive been following the film and im very excited to see how tom hardy portrays bane

  • @S4disticJ0k3r Perhaps they play him as a super-mercenary or something. haven't read Knightfall, but I think he was something more than just a wrestling-competitor.

  • @HLimmen Heh heh heh.

  • I'm rooting for Bane and maybe the riddler for the third movie. C'mon santa i just want to see the bat bot crack some skulls for christmas :)

  • They should bloody well get going on The Dark Knight Returns before Clint Eastwood croaks it. He would be my only choice for the grizzled Batman in his 50's

  • Problem is Old Clint is now in his 70s. Not gonna happen now :(

  • I was thinking they just wait 15 years and have christian bale do it then.

  • i think the riddler should be in the sequel, performed by jim carrey or jonny depp, there both great

  • i would like to see poison ivy in the 3rd movie. a woman could be a good idea for a villain, but without superpowers of course, the realism is the strenght of nolan's batmans.

  • One can survive without an eyelid..... dude look it up in Medical Facts...... u can survive with out alot of things u just cant function properly or to full capacity most of the time.

  • No you can't. People who remain maimed have artificial eyelids.

If not your eyes can't become dry.

  • @Seblike Well they can, it would just be incredibly uncomfortable. But I agree the makeup, missing cheek in particular, did kind of mess with the believability.

  • A woman survived her face being ripped off by a chimp. Her entire face, jaw and all.

  • Geez, Batman's rogue's gallery is so great I really can't choose one villain for the next movie. Bane's terrific and definitely an underrated villain, plus the idea of toxic chemicals that increase body size/mass/strength aren't entirely far fetched. I'd love to see Clayface or Mr. Freeze (my favorites), but I don't think they align with Nolan's vision of gritty realism.

  • Clayface and Freeze are my favorites too! Especially the "Batman the Animated Series" incarnations! But you're right, Nolan is too ingrained in the realism, which I actually like. It makes him, Batman, seem even scarier and more sinister, getting the feeling that he's real...

  • well, IF Nolan decides to do another Batman movie, I think either Hush or Dead Shot (maybe both) would be the best choice.

  • I think they should put a few villains in the next one, The Riddler played by Johnny Depp and The Mad Hatter played by Paul Bettany, and then trow in Bane as well.

  • I'd really want to see Bane in the next movie. Considering how shamefully Schumacher handled him in B&R, I want to see a more realistic and intelligent interpretation, like in the comics.

  • Myself, i think that the third movie should be about Arkham Asylum.

Joker gets caught hanging on the cliffhanger, and they send him to the Asyllum.

  • Along with none other than........

the not so dead Two face.

  • it would be a gr8 choice if they brought Johnny depp...as Riddler....he was amazing in Public enemies

  • i think if they do another one they realy should use the Riddler

i dont know how they will replace legder as the joker

  • I agree. Riddler should be next villain - someone who could rival with Joker... but in his own sinister way. He wouldn't be totally ruthless as Joker is - but rather more... "rewarding". That is, if you survive his puzzles.

  • i think he might be too similar to joker to be in the next film

  • @lex5554 my sister was thinking joseph g levitt.

  • @lex5554 rumors have it that the Riddler might be Johnny Deep.

  • @lex5554 i think the best replace him with joseph gordon levitt

  • @theperfectperson90 it's the obvious bet... I think the same too :P

  • @lex5554 I think that's a very limited way of thinking. There are many brilliant actors out there, so it's just a matter of how well the film makers choose. Let's wait and see.

  • @lex5554 Daniel Day Lewis? he is kinda de only one that could slightly pull it off

  • @lex5554 They are planning to, Robin Williams has signed up to play the Riddler, but not sure if they will use him, but they do plan to use The Riddler in the next Batman movie, and they are making another Batman movie

  • @lex5554 I wouldn't mind betting the film company starts making some up based on real psycho killers or dc does with new comics. That approach would really work with these batman films imho. I like how they have taken the villains and put a realistic spin on them.

  • Comment removed

  • @lex5554 maybe someone who could play the Joker from Arkham Asylum. That joker was crazy and very well voiced.

  • they cant do another batman nobody will ever be able to pick up where ledger left off as the joker

  • I think that the Scarecrow is the one holding the Nolan-series together. He will be in every one of them.

I don't think that they should do a third one. I really don't and hope they won't. There isn't a reason to. For all who wants more Batman -read the comics.

But if they have to do one (to make more money to themselfs) they could have The Riddler asking "Can Dent be believed?"

  • No reason to do a third one? The second one ended on a cliffhanger. You can't just leave Batman hanging as the Gotham pariah. The way the Dark Knight was set up, it was the second act of a three act story, just like The Empire Strikes Back. The first one established the characters, the second one made everything darker, and the third one is where the hope and true light comes in. Batman has to be vindicated.

  • ahmen, truer words have never been spoken all three films together will be a master piece in comic adaptation movies even spidey couldnt do it because 3 was made for the wrong reasons, with nolan there will never be a wrong reason

  • I agree!!! I just hope that they don't do it too far in the future (like everyone is saying) because Alfred is so cool, and Michael Caine does an amazing job, and I want him to be in the next one.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think Nolan would want to make another Batfilm for the sake of money, obviously he's gotta eat and Batman would rank in the cash but, I could tell and I think most people could, that Begins and TDK were made with honest to god effort, not just to sell toys and appease a wider audience like Schumacher's Batfilms did.
