  • Finally got one; all I need is the Voc and the Mummy robot

  • i got this for 2 pounds in debinams

  • i managed to remove the cloak and now its like an accessory it gose back on as well now i have a deadly assassin master as well as a zombie delgado master

  • I have this figure but I'm never taking it aou of the box!

  • @Drwhofanindatardis Why not?

  • @daleksfearthewhovian I'm just kidding, I was pretending to sound like a weird collecter person who polishes a glass case every 5 minutes with all his action figures in! OOps! I just took it out of the box!

  • The Deadly Assassin Master was the most evil incarnation of the Master ever - one of the best villains in entire history of Who. With respect, Delgado, Ainley etc were not especially menacing let alone frightening and the motives of the character were never consistent or especially well-defined. In one story he wanted to destroy the world, in another he wanted to rule it.

  • @batmanmarch, who is the first renegade timelord in wave 2?

  • @thecarreyman2323 Morbius, who I reviewed first :)

  • @batmanmarch Of Course! How could i forget? lol

  • They should do a series of classic companions figures.

  • keep on clicking on 2:11

  • God I see what you mean about the head, 20 minutes and still not budged. The Sash was somewhat easy on mine

  • for a new custom you could rip off the cloak, redo the head and replace the hands then you have a basic master custom. I tried it and it worked out perfectly.

  • It is hell getin the sash off mine so it takes at least 4 to 6 minets on mine!

  • u used your custom in the collective part 5 didn't you

  • I looked up the custom peter pratt master if i posted a comment

back then I could've told you to wait like i did!

  • Your custom Is Better

  • this is my favourite figure of wav 2 but i think that the face of some of them looks more like the one from the keeper of traken without the ping pong ball eyes lol :D

  • i got mine yesterday five minutes out of the box and the right leg just fell off. The joint is snapped and i didn't even touch the legs. Should i ask for a refund, switch it for another figure,or just glue the leg back on.

  • i was gonna get this but i got the earthshock cyberman instead kinda glad now i heard your story

  • Awesome review as always, looks immense!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Batman, I think this guy needs a scythe. XD

Anyhow, I had an idea for a story where the Master, in this decayed form, goes to a village...be it middle ages or the renaisance period, and he's posing as the grim reaper in order to get what he requires for some ghastly plans he has in mind. Could work for doc's 4-6.

Or with some tweaking, it could make for a good SJA story. :)

  • @TheCastellan That's a good idea. I think it would work better as a SJA story, i think it would be interesting because i think she has never met the master before (correct me if im wrong) and you could include a cameo from the doctor. still, that's just my idea, you do what you want with it, it'll be great anyway you make it :)

  • Brilliant!

  • It looks very like your custom although I actually think your custom is better!

  • Excellent review as always, Matt :)

  • brilliant review, this figure is ace, keep up the brilliant videos

  • As much as I like this figure, your one seems more realistic and terrifying.

    Jamie

  • Superb review as ever, Matthew. This is yet another of those figures I've added to my list of ones I never thought I'd ever see. Come on, Sutekh. Come on, Sutekh! (Oh, and a Borad. I think he would make an excellent figure).

  • Thanks again Peter! A Sutekh would be wonderful! Complete with seat and Stage Hand holding down the cushion! The Borad would also be a good one. There's quite a few 80's monsters I'd like to see- Terileptils, Vervoids, Sil as well as some 60's ones too! I really want some Monoids!! As much as I love the Tom Baker era, lets have a bit of variety!

  • @batmanmarch Oh yes, the cushion and hand is a must! Plus a swappable head! I heartily approve of your list of 80s monsters. And Monoids! Absolutely. With swappable collars. And a Dodo figure so that we can make endless animations featuring the Many and Varied Deaths of Dodo. I'll just go and prepare myself for the main landing.

  • @batmanmarch

I think we're gonna see the Tom Baker ones taken care of first, then onto the others. :)

  • @batmanmarch

I'd like a big, imposing Mara. Or perhaps a Ruton, a humanoid Axon, Silurian, Tithonian (Imagine the box for that one XD), Kraals, Wyren, and so on.

  • @batmanmarch

I'm guessing that they went with the Baker monsters, since Baker was the most popular, and hence went with that first. :)

  • @batmanmarch Sharaz Jek and one of his Androids....

  • @batmanmarch

I know it was in the episode, but really, a stage hand?

Well, i guess it would be good for figure adventures and parodys!

  • @DWPRfan he was joking..

  • @DALEK86

    Oh dear... :( woops!

  • ah cum on i sent u a message saying that u shouldnt have gotten the figure really tho ur 1 is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! like i wouldnt tell if it were a custom r not!!!!

  • i think the face sculpt on your custom kinda looks better......... in someways

  • this is the one i want my birthday is coming up next month on the fithteenth

  • love the figure going to get it after i have got all of end of time figures and love that background how did you make it?

  • Yeah I was thinking that you've made your own - I think yours is better in some areas. More gritty. I love that their choosing off beat characters ie not just Daleks ect.

  • i like the new figs they have ball joins

  • i think they should of made the hood removable for the purpose of the sash, another brilliant review, i love your new tardis set (: 10/10

  • Hope we see some stories with him.

Also, will we ever see some solo 4th Doc stories...since there had to be gaps of time between Hand of Fear/Deadly Assassin and Deadly Assassin/Face of Evil.

  • Limited articulation for this particular figure is ok, since he did not run, jump, or twist about much.

  • love the new titles mate , master looks nice to me , mines on its way

  • Woaw,Brilliant review!

  • great figure

  • =) looks nice gr8 review

  • I was a bit disspointed with this figure ,but i must say it looks cool iam glad ive bought it but i have not got it yet! but hes one of my favourite master to,and it looks good, and great review.

  • No your master figure is better LOL...Its Strange how they jumped into Peter and not make one for Roger...

  • @grant24678

I'm glad, this master was the only one I liked.

Delgado's was used too much, and Ainley's was too much of a Saturday morning cartoon character.

Remember the old Super Friends cartoon show...Ainley's master would fit right in there.

The crispy Master was the one who was more dangerous, he nearly destroyed Galifrey & the Timelords, and imagine if he had the full Keepership. Would not be pretty.

  • what r u going to do with ur original master figure?

  • i like the new title sequence brilliant :D

  • Great review again, Bats. Do you know when you'll get your Rassilon figure?

  • That Master always seemed to scare me when I was little!! Great review! :-)

  • i love deadly assasin

thats a cool figure but i think your custom one looks better

  • @aleaskywalker I Agree

  • 2nd upload in a day! Jesus!

  • awsome

  • cool
