One of the best Blues singers out there today. The man was born to sing the Blues. Loved him when he was with Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets, really dig what he did when he occasionally toured with the James Cotton Blues Band & own most of his solo stuff. Hope to see him back on the West Coast of Canada or up in the Pacific Northwest U.S. again soon.
Darrell is originally from the Dallas / Ft Worth area...where he and Anson first formed Anson & The Rockets 30 years ago. He currently resdies in Boston. The guitarist is Johnny Moeller, who currently plays in the Fabulous Thunderbirds (w/ his brother Jay on drums). Check google under Johnny Moeller to find his, or Darrell's, available recordings.
