Well I think it's pretty well known that Pete is an absolute horrible bass player, but Joe is pretty good.

Actually Pete started the band with Joe. They found Patrick in a Borders Books and later found Andy after loosing two members of the band (Patrick used to only sing and took up the guitar after the two other ppl left). =D
