simple, the harder you hit a spin shot, the less the english will throw the object ball. Notice, she hit it very hard, and it is a short shot. So, the object ball was thrown, but not enough to miss the shot. Try it!
@swlryan well exatcly like you would do stop shot but you put english on it:P
seriously think about basic short stop shot you aim approx one tip below center, cueball slides (no roll) to the contact and stops, now same shot aim one tip below the center add some side. its actually quite easy shot
