None of the Tudor monarchs were saints. Once could go through all their reigns (with the possible exception of Edward VI who was a minor and therefore 'ruled' through his uncle's Protectorate-and others-and find faults in all of them. Many were executed over the Tudor century-both Catholic and Protestant-in their names.
