Jump Forward to 2011 and we just like to give all our information away for no real reason. The way the chips work are on electricity, they're powered wirelessly there not constantly "on" but when placed to a reader the activate the only way to "track" people with them is to build large antenna's everywhere that can power the chips on, and even then that will just give away the closest antenna. Jump Forward to 2011 and we just like to give all our information away for no real reason. The way the chips work are on electricity, they're powered wirelessly there not constantly "on" but when placed to a reader the activate the only way to "track" people with them is to build large antenna's everywhere that can power the chips on, and even then that will just give away the closest antenna. Its the way forward and it much better plus passports have had rfid's for years now, throw away you id!

@03nowwow where are you getting that fact from? i know for a fact there are atleast 9 or so around my area (about 4km area) and i still get pretty shit signal if i'm indoors, not enough if you ask me, and so what? governments can track phones with no problem and i imagine if you have a cell phone you probably have it on or near you 90% of the time, hasn't been utilized the way you seem to see rfid's main purpose
