I love the beach boys and i am from surf city ( Huntington Beach) but I have heard so many brit bands from the early 60's influence their music. socal surf music got alot of stuff from the brits, but then again the brits got alot from US soul and rockabilly before that even, including the great beatles.

They certainly picked the the right song so long as Herman's Hermits are getting royalities. Thanks for that info.
