Marshall Haze15 through a 4x12" cabinet.

Alot of people try to give the Haze alot of shit...its not a bad amp at all. They say it doesnt have enough gain or sounds too thin.

I own the stack version, and you have to consider that a 1x12 in a closed back cabinet is NOT going to sound like a 4x12. I tried them both.

The 4x12 cabinet design is actually responsable for that heavy scooped mids sound. The back of the cab is a solid apprx. 3x3 plywood back which esstunally acts as a subwoofer giving you that heavy bottom. Its NOT the head.

I'm broke and never earned enough money that I can afford a stack I just picked up the Haze head and what I wana know is...

How can 15 watts drive 4x12 speakers? Does it really matter?

@PIlotrcm the sound spectrum is a lot fuller thru a 4x12 with the haze head. I use that exact set up live and it works great. I run the amp @16ohm thru the 16ohm intput on the 1960.... crank it and go!

The head version should be a 40 watt mini power house as well. Would like to trade my JCM900 50W hi gain master volume 2500 and new 1960a cab for 2 of these.
