I've been watching scenes from the recent CMA Awards, and that got me to looking at Brad Paisley videos. Almost 10 years ago...I played this song for my friend who decided if he couldn't be with me, (I was with a jerk at the time trying to get out of that relationship), then he was just going to go back to TN and try to work things out with his ex. My husband and I were going through a rough patch in our marriage. He asked me to just do one more thing for him and that was for me to listen to this song. He sang it to me. I realized then, after all my emotions, feelings and the love I still had and still have for him, That I couldn't let him go and neither could he let me go. I can relate so much to this song, because just a couple of months ago my bf left to the military. And he had broken up with me, he left a hole in my heart..and empty spot no one else can fill up. I feel this way about my wife even with the pain she caused when she left. I just don't know about the finding love somewhere down the road. I don't know that I am strong enough to handle that. Maybe someday, but right now it takes my breath away just thinking about it.

Almost 10 years ago...I played this song for my friend who decided if he couldn't be with me, (I was with a jerk at the time trying to get out of that relationship), then he was just going to go back to TN and try to work things out with his ex. I couldn't let that happen. I asked him to meet me one evening...told him I wanted him hear something. I played this song for him. Today we have been together for almost 10 years...married 5 of those and have our first baby boy on the way next month.
