YEA DEFIENTLY 10 TIMES HOTTER WITH BLACK AND WHITE . HOW DID YOU CHANGE THE TAILS COLORS THTS THE HARDEST PART? DID YOU JUST PUT THE KIT OVER IT ?

@mcturk17 The bodykit had all the plastic parts apart. I just unbolted the OEM parts and bolted on the new ones. I totally replaced them.

@kosnow11 ....I bought them from ebay. The ebay seller is not there anymore I think but you can find them from a different one.

@MakisL123 i've found 'that' scheme but for the 06-07's, not for the 04'05's.

you sure it's an 04?

@kosnow11 ..... of course I am sure. Look at the lower cowls. The hide half the engine. The '06-'07 don't.

Send an email to the seller if he can provide you the same scheme but for the '04-'05.

@warthog144 you dont need new rims, its a thin sticker/tape called rim tape. you can get it in any color go to bikebandit

I am aware that there are fiberglass fairings but this one is exactly the same with the OEM one apart from the "HONDA" logo on the inside.Pure ABS plastic great quality and quite flexible.I asked a lot of questions before I purchase it.

After all I am repairing/customizing motorcycles for the last 11 years...I know each time what I am looking for

i also have a 2004 cbr1000rr that i didnt wreck but i just got tired of the old red and grey plastics, so i ordered some of ebay from hong kong, the white and black and neon green hann spree ones, but the were not the ABS plastic like the oem stuff so needless to say the lower right fairing flew off @ 187 mph and left a big bruise on my leg lol, so watch out for fakes

One tip for anyone. I have a 2006 1000rr and I just got a body kit for it, before you install the new bodywork, sit it in the sun for an hour so it gets a little easier to work with, otherwise it is really stiff and it is hard to fit together. I installed mine over winter in my garage and it was a pain in the ass! Nice kit, it looks great!

Nice. Always wondered about those Hong Kong body kits on eBay. I suppose it was a pain to fit then? I mean 5 hours. Still, for that price it's worth it.
