the real dance es too bad!!!!!!, thats was not the best performance of britney, but the dancer at the left "supposedly" do it good, and was HORRIBLE -.- (sorry for my english)
And really I saw she was trying to fix it because towards the end she was doing it pretty much exactly but since she screwed up so bad 2/3 of the song it was too late. She still has my respect for not giving up though

Come on. Britney didn't rehearse the coreography. She vanished the night before, came back more or less shit wasted/hungover 30 minutes before the perfomance, scrapped the original outfit, took that and went on stage. Of course the dancer was better, she actually did the coreography unlike the intoxicated Britney. Who knows, Britney probably could've done the coreography if she was sober. @pursuitofboredom oh sweetie... You must be watchin' something else because clearly the stand in dancer is way better. Britney lacked a lot of things during this performance and was no where near ready. Love her, but she should've never went out on stage. Give her props for trying and it looks like near the ending of the performance she got a little bit more comfortable and remembered her dance moves.

The Problem was, she was way to over confidant about the performance, And The way mtv Video angles and zoomed out and looking at other people helped her cover her mistakes and a lot of the time the dancer's would cover her mistakes but i would have to say she only was able to do 45% of the choreography

I was rooting for her on this performance but I guess the media scrutiny got to her, whatever she's back one top baby :) I just hope her dancing energy is back too cos when she gets into it there's no holding back when it comes to brit(:

a corset and a better hair, we could been watched a more sexy performance. But ok, it's not totally worst, i mean, look at her mental situation in that time, this is a cool perfomance... not the best, but cool. But i belive, after this perfomance and all negatives comments, she lost the confidence to dance, i really wish that she back this year with a promotional perfomances and a tour where she really could dance, like we loved see her doing. Britney still are the best, she is unique. =D

@DanChandia I agree completely! I feel if this was years ago this would've been 1 of the best vma performances ever... She has definitely lost her confidence to dance. I noticed it around the Circus era, and that's what made her spark on stage... Confidence. As a fan her new single "Hold It Against Me" is just an ok song to me but is a club, dance banger ! I hope she comes back not just being Britney so we accept everything cuz we love her but really come back the way she was!

Come on. Britney didn't rehearse the coreography. She vanished the night before, came back more or less shit wasted/hungover 30 minutes before the perfomance, scrapped the original outfit, took that and went on stage. Of course the dancer was better, she actually did the coreography unlike the intoxicated Britney. Who knows, Britney probably could've done the coreography if she was sober. Anyway this bitch don't even sing live, don't waste your money on her gigs.

i absolutely <3 Britney. but this performance wasnt her greatest! she wasnt ready. :( and i read something about her circus tour choreography in the comments...i think all the humiliation and embarrassment she got from this performance made her to nervous to dance like she used to because she is probably scared this would happen. Anywho i love you Britney <3 :)

@pursuitofboredom oh sweetie... You must be watchin' something else because clearly the stand in dancer is way better. Britney lacked a lot of things during this performance and was no where near ready. Love her, but she should've never went out on stage. Give her props for trying and it looks like near the ending of the performance she got a little bit more comfortable and remembered her dance moves.

i don't know who those girls are on the left are, but they rock. and of course britney's shit went popular. sheep run rampant world wide. it was just really uncomfortable watching this shit and all the celebrities in the audience didn't look all that comfy either. it was like watching a train wreck. old britney wasn't that much better but at least her songs and dancing were good.

unfortunately if she spent time getting in shape and prepareing for the Vma and possible a world tour she would of been fine but I think the song its self had low energy and even if she got all the moves down people would still comment on how hookerish and superficial it was .

The Problem was, she was way to over confidant about the performance, And The way mtv Video angles and zoomed out and looking at other people helped her cover her mistakes and a lot of the time the dancer's would cover her mistakes but i would have to say she only was able to do 45% of the choreography

@nhomap And remember this is her first more slow soft choreography as opposed to what she did on the every other performance. The cheroegraphy wasn't the greatest anyways. If you look closely she didn't really do that bad. Its just that ppl expect so much more out of britney. If rihanna or katy perry or nicki did stuff like this, they would be hailed for it. But because britney has the repuatation, ppl expect more.
