While the C7 is undeniably getting long in the tooth it's still a pretty acceptable processor with a decent price / performance / value mixture. Certainly not something I would call "very very bad"...
he's basically saying that processor clock speed is irrelevant, whether gigahertz, megaherts, HZ or ice ages ... what matters is whether it has sufficient performance.
The guy was talking about an upcoming 400MHz or 500 MHz Eden CPU that they were showing off during one of the afternoon presentations. I didn't catch too many details but the power-consumption was said to be very low (~1W) and the CPU without any heatsink sat at 42°C during MPEG-2 playback. When the guy presenting the CPU put his finger on the CPU the temps actually started to go down to 38°C. :-)
what is it with tech geeks being pathologically incapable of shooting video decently???

Wow, with this board, i can Finally make my own Linux-powered Mobile phone with touchsceen :))
I would use smaller screen and Flash to make it smaller. Where we can buy those motherboards?

I'd like to see one of these with an Atom processor, now that they're out.

These are faster than the Atom, I think.

Mmm, I was just thinking about the demo again and if I'm not mistaken the CPU might have been the Eden ULV...

I think he said 1 GHz CPU, and confirmed it as C7M.
