I have closely examined both the Ice House original and the Whitlams cover version. Each have their pro's and con's, For example, the saxophone solo in original wasn't really the best idea. And putting this song with a grey's anatomy vid wasn't really that great either. That aside, both are unique and brilliant. Kudos to Ice House and the Whitlams.

Ugh, it's not the same without the crying saxophone. This was the first version of the song I heard, and I guess it was okay, but when I heard the original, I fell in love with it. This version of the song is so passionless.

i agree Icehouses singer is heaps better.. i love the original, though sometimes the random effects and synths (seemingly for the sake of having an electrical dream sound to just about every song) which were the plague of alot of 80's rock makes it a bit hard to listen to the song properly.

thinking Iva Davies should do a pure rock re-recording of this for Bi-Polar Poems as an extra (when it actually gets released that is)
