It's so true. I think this needed more bass, but that could be because I'm a bassist. the drum line sounded weird, and while it didn't sound to me like they were screaming, it sounded whiny. It does lose some meaning.

Queen is my favorite band in the world. I like MCR and I like The Used, but I DO NOT like how they did this song. The went to fast, they seemed to scream not sing, the drum line sounded weird for some reason, and it was missing the whole downtodden vibe of the original song. It was supposed to be like a man finally cracking from the pressure of life and asking the world to help each other out...this version makes the song lose some of it's meaning...It makes me sad inside. *tear* poor Freddie...

I love both versions the same amount - the MCR/Used version is much more upbeat and optimistic, and the original version is, as you all know, unbeatable. Queen and Bowie just make everything fantastic.

It's beautiful, this song means so much to me, and the fact that two of my favorite bands AND my favorite singer ever (Bert) perform it, it makes it the best thing in the world.
