Thanks for posting a comment. That was pretty much the combination we were going for. We wanted the fun of the 1960's Batman, but with a touch of Batman Begins.
Not too shabby, the actors need a bit more energy at some points (They all seem to go up and down) and there is too much use static cameras, try using more cutaways and different angles for more variety.
good job! video! my names Rachel, kinda feelin bored if any1 wants to join me on cam or wana chat i will be signed on at __ PLAY-CAM...dot...COM __ my user ID there is Rachel_wbcittpvvz chat soon xx its FR33 to j0in! mwah
So what? I think it was creative to disregard the races. That is what's wrong with society today. Peter Pan can't be black. Batman can't be Asian. Who cares? And what if there never was a black catwoman? Would you still say the same thing?
OK I am very sorry for saying that then. I am sure when your done it will look great. For those people who complain about Batgirl being black. Well there was a story told in DC where there was a blackman who was Batman. So why not have a black person play Batgirl? There no wrong in that.
I also could see as Barbara Gorden her hair was red and she was wearing a wig. barbabras hair in the comic was red. but in her original carnation she she wore a red wig. because her hair was Dark Brown and it added to the disguise. I gave this 3 tars because of these mistakes. But hell your doing better then I did
Thanks for the comments. Just to Clarify a few things. Felisita (BatGirl) Never wore a wig in the film. That's her real hair. She straightened it as Barbara and left it naturally curly as Batgirl. As for the slow motion fight scenes, that was an editing decision, I'm going to re-edit it. I wanted a Matrix or The 300 type look, but it didn't work. The music was from Batman Returns 1992
OK I like this movie and I hope what I say does not sound harsh it is not meant too. But the fight scens need work. The characters were moving slow, they can speed up their movements without hurting each other. Also Batgirl always wore gloves and never exposed her fingers. Because of finger prints. The music is to slow and seventyish. end of part 1
I found the extremely dark lighting to be a distraction. Perhaps Film Noir was not the actual style in mind, but the overall feel of the films leads me this way. A look at some of the films from the 40's would give some help in this type of lighting.
I would like to have seen a black and white version of these films too.
Of course my comments are my own and your efforts are very commendable. Good work!
Hello and thanks for your comments. The fight scene in Part One came out very dark here on Youtube. While we wanted the scene to be moody and have atmosphere, we didn't want it to be so dark you can't see the action. In about a week, the whole film will be available for download and it should be much more watchable on your PC
To make it worse...she even has to work a 2nd job at the Library and still cant afford a flatscreen TV. Either the wages are poor or the inflation in Gotham sucks donkey balls.
Looks great. It's not tedious to watch in the least. It definitely sucked me in to the story. Now we're left with a cliff-hanger. I'm looking forward to future installments to see what happens next. Thanks for the entertainment!!!!!!!!!!
ps. I love the 70s throwback style cinematic music in the intro. Makes me feel like I'm in the movie theatre. You can almost smell the hot buttered popcorn. "Please put all trash in the proper receptacles, turn your cellphones off, etc, etc..."
Hi Keith, Thanks for the kind words. That song in the intro is from the old ABC Movie of the Week back in the 1970's. I always loved the way that came on and I'm glad I found it on the internet.
in some scenes, it was too dark to see the characters.

I would've believed a black catwoman (eartha kitt, hallie berry) over a black batgirl anyday. This Batgirl speaking voice makes her sound retarded

Yes, because it is a lot easier to believe black people as criminals and villians. White= Good

Hi and thanks for e-mailing. The song in the intro is Nikki by The Burt Bacharach Orchestra & Chorus
