Although the idea of Twisted Metal is interesting, I'm afraid I don't think it could work as a movie. However, it could work as a 12 episode mini series with each episode about each character. Also, instead of having the show about the characters simply trying to kill each other, why not have Calypso assign each character their own task that is related to their psychological issues and desires. What do you think?

@chihuahuaowner1 Had many ideas as to what would go great for a Twisted Metal movie. Action sequences, soundtrack, it's probably too bad that some folks like us aren't likely to get the blessings of corporate entities to do it and make it nice and legal. Especially since so many are coming down on people for making fan made events. They already have a good relationship with the band Level for using that Disaster Proof song. I think starting the movie up to that song would be a great call.

My first thought is that this game would make an awesome movie. The story, the characters, the creativity of it would really make a good summer blockbuster. However, it also has the potential to be one of the worst movies of all time. Think of the SPAWN movie for instance. They could very easily ruin it by trying to make it super dark and super violent and edgy and have it end up just being really stupid. They would really need to be careful about who they would get to direct it.

I think if someone actually tried to make a game-movie and concentrated on the story first and foremost instead of cramming characters and references it would be fine. Consider; all the characters you don't show will be there for the next movie!

My point is that this game dsn't have one character that pushes the story .. Every one of them tells his story and basicly only calypso and tooth are the icons for the serries from the start. And the movie would had too do great in the box office to make a sequel. Don't think there are soo many TM fans.

A Twisted Metal movie would be ether really good, or really bad. There probably wouldn't be an in-between.

Personally if they did make one I'd prefer that they keep it close the the original stories, TM1 and TM2.
