  • Sekirei an awesome anime lol.

  • jessica rabbit? eh. Wonder Woman. Oh yeah!

  • @csandreas Lol if it's weird to be attracted too cartoons then it's weird to be attracted to supermodels cause most people have the same chance with both

  • no its not wierd

  • Your wife has it wrong. Not pathetic, but simple brain chemistry. What visuals we see trigger certain emotions/feelings/etc. in us, regardless of it being real or artistic. You may as well call it pathetic to become aroused by the moan of a digital woman's voice. But I must admit her disbelief of the GIANT breast that abound in animation. I prefer a bit finesse, style and realism in my toons. ;)

  • Oh God.

I have so many cartoon crushes it's not even funny.

Right now it's some characters from Homestuck, and ...Eddy and Double D from Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy...

I used to crush on a lot of anime characters, but not so much right now.

I'm really happy that my boyfriend doesn't mind either. I mean, they're just fictional characters.

It's always nice to see threads full of other people's stories like my own.

  • Go ask the sonic community!

  • Well girls do find hello kitty cute.

  • it's weird cuz im not attracted to anime girls with big boobs. i like flat chested tsundere girls, thats why my fav anime girl is taiga :D

  • (cont) to watch some really good stand alone anime movies like escaflone or even something along the lines of howls moving castle or Kiki's delivery service. It is all about exposure that makes things feel and seem "normal". It is certainly not a gender specific thing. The forever alone make nerd trope is old and try to explain that it is not helping to continue using it. Not when women are actually wanting to be more represented fairly in these circles.

  • As an asexual I find sexual attraction a distant concept either way. I do find those cartoons attractive and I like to look at cartoon and real humans but not in a sexual way. I think depends on how you grew up. We grew up watching sailormoon, cardcaptors, yugio, dragon ball z... Ect ect. It has indeed become the normal for us. Maybe children who rejected or did not grow up like that find the concept alien and strange to them. I bet if they watched a few they would change their mind. Get your w

  • watch basilisk or darker than black on netflix! if you like anime, youll love these anime. X)

  • Sekirei.......the first time my friend showed I was like "0.0 oh yeah!"

But then I started enjoying the story, it was pretty great.

  • Yeah girls are attracted to cartoons too! Lol! For me it was L from Death Note or Jak from Jak and Daxter XDDD pffft... (I can't believe I just admitted all that) And yeah even if it IS weird that thinking a cartoon is attractive like... so what? I know they're not real or anything. I just think they're attractive. Attractive male cartoon characters do, however, kinda influence my taste of guys in real life I think...

  • Yeah tisn't wierd mine was Jessica Rabbit from who framed roger rabbit.

  • @Yellingatconcrete :-) Then I'm in good company

  • Think of it this way man, if she thinks you are a freak and are weird, then she has married a weird freak. Says alot about her eh?

  • @skyswordsman LOL Yup, she's like's em weird and freaky LOL

  • @csandreas Everyone does, its just finding the ones who will admit it thats hard :P

  • man speaking the truth right hear I'm glad I checked /a/ before going to sleep

  • @1001Lai sleep tight.. I do what I can.

  • If anything, I would find it more peculiar that someone wouldn't find details in a cartoon to be attractive if they were meant to be, as it'd seem other important details might be lost on such a viewer. Opinions are opinions, and no less of anyone who doesn't share my opinion: I love my 2D girls just as much as my 3D, BUT it's not as if the drawing is better than the real thing. I think it's all simply lost in translation, and the feelings are supposed to transcend that.

    TL;DR - It's ALL good.

  • @OotHEWoW TS;DR: RIGHT ON!

  • You should worry when you start liking real people, that's when things get weird

  • @pelukior nooooo not hoomans

  • Who gives a fuck what other people think? Fap away.

  • @AlbinoChao I wasn't really talking about fapping lol but I did make a video about that

  • I jerk off to hentai all the time. I don't give a fuck.

  • @TheQuiZNoKid lmao clearly ... man I can't even.. lol

  • Thumbs up...

  • I will totally admit that an anime guy is hot. No shame man, no shame. Doesn't mean that I don't like real guys though.

  • @LilPichu1101 I think as long as thats the case you're good

  • Its not so weird. Women do the same thing.

  • @Drrck11 I mentioned that in the video lol

  • It's not weird, they are drawn to look attractive. It's just that most people wont admit to it :s

  • @mcdives I guess it's not exactly water cooler conversation lol ... "soooo did you guys see the gams on Sailor moon?"

  • lol Fionna and Marceline are hot. I don't think anything is wrong with finding cartoon characters cute sometimes they are drawn to be attractive

  • @edzim10 I'm so glad I have support especially on the adventure time girls

  • Yo, you are reading this in csandreas's voice. You are now rocking side-to-side. You are seldomly looking into the camera. Now you are pronouncing Sekirei, Sekirye.

  • @avalonkiller Thank you closed captioning for the viewing and hearing impaired... lol

  • Han solo never existed

  • @streight4lk wuuuurwhat?

  • Wait...was THAT weird?

  • @lnsertCleverName A little. LOL j/k :-)

  • @csandreas Well in my defense, I was a minor when that game first came out. *shifty eyes*

  • Well, I could see someone that isn't in the nerd universe thinking it's weird, but they just don't understand. For me, cartoons and video games are an escape from reality. I don't think it's actually that you are attracted to the cartoon, but you are attracted to an atypical woman drawn with pleasing proportions. If it makes you feel better, I'm attracted to the major from Ghost in the shell, and Ling Xiahou from tekken. And she's an underaged schoolgirl, lol.

  • @shamidkpzd wow yes she was i'd forgot about her

  • I dont think our brains try to find out if a women is real or not, it may just be looking for specific features. Because lets face it our brains originally are adapted more for being away from technology and more in a natural way of living in the wilderness, so for that reason we can look at a cartoon girl and think she is attractive because our evolution did not plan for those anime girls. we dont look for realistic skin, we look for womanly features.

  • @myr576 You are genius... I really didn't think about that... hmph.. but why so do we find cleavage (boobs mashed together) attractive, i don't think that was ever part of the plan. lol

  • @csandreas lol I dont know honestly, my best guess is that cleavage is something that guys dont have. I mean we got to be attracted to something that is on a women and not on a man.

  • the finest one i've seen is a tie btw tifa in advent children and the girl from ghost in a shell during the opening and yeah they make them attractive to attract viewers it opens new door for any anime and it mirriors live movies cast

  • @nominee0 I think everyone had a crush on Tifa lol

  • I always liked Nami from One Piece, but surprisingly I got kind of disappointed when I saw that the author was progressively making her boobs bigger. I don't really know why, I guess it made her seem less 'real'? Not that she was ever real, anyway, but still.

  • @isuckatparking 0_0 i never noticed that... ha I might have to research.. I don't mean that in a pervy way, it'd just weird.

  • @csandreas I can send you the link!

  • Hmmm...

Humans are biologically ingrained to be attracted to the opposite sex.

So lets filter that question down to the real premise.

"Is it weird to be attracted to detailed depictions of the opposite sex?"

    NOPE. It's normal.

Gotta say, I have lost respect for your wife.

(Before anyone says "Hey, what about gays?" that's out of the scope of the topic. Just assume I mentioned it.)

  • @EmbraceTheThunder to be fair she's not a nerd, she's learning a lot from being around me... but between you and me I lost some respect too initially because it's such a close minded stance. But then again I think furies are weird so she's entitled.

  • A lot of cartons nowadays are provocative lol

  • @2010Whip provocative yes.. but attractive?

  • @csandreas lol sometimes

  • Odd. Has she watched the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

I agree with her though. Being attracted to cartoons is abit 'weird', because of the whole 'non-real human female' thing.

p.s Your hugability rating is off the scale at the moment!

  • @Tiwaking I don't know, I'll ask her lol .. thank you lol hugability rating lol

  • Ha, cooking with dog music.

  • @79turdferguson79 lol wut?

  • Admittedly Chel in El Dorado was pretty hot.

  • @shamidkpzd Yeah... like crazy.. I know it sounds strange but she was.

  • Haha, there is nothing wrong with it Chris. If anything it's more innocent because it's not real. I mean some people find it weird, but what's worse? Staring at women in public, essentially creeping them out? Lol.

  • @TheWitheredSoldier You know I tried the more innocent defense and she didn't buy it but I agree it's definitely not worse than being a creep lol

  • great video. subbed

  • @ksn1337 Thank you! :-D

  • @asx516 LOL Yeah if someone is like, eww, she's alive... he has a problem lol

  • Meg and Jasmine from Hercules and Aladdin...Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot *clears throat* Now that's out of the way, I don't think it's weird. I mean if they seem attractive, then they designed them to look that way for some reason or another. AAAAND I there are plenty of people who dress up like these characters IRL for Cosplay, so if a person can depict that character IRL is it that different?

  • @stewdippin Yes! I actually brought up cosplay to my lady and she just made a face. LOL I agree with you 100% and I wonder is it l creepy to be attracted to a girl who cosplays as a character but also the source character she's cosplaying as.

  • @csandreas COSPLAY-CEPTION

  • @stewdippin BUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMM

  • thought it was pronounced sec e ray?

  • @Busujimiya It might be.. I did my best -_0

  • Btw!! Sekirei is amazing!! I did feel that way about the main character and the lady who uses water. Forgot their names because I didn't watch it for awhile.. But the story is really comedic and really great xD

  • @pantherandgrizzly I'm watching it tonight thanks to your recommendation :-)

  • It's only weird when you start to have an obsession. People need to control themselves. It will be all fun & games first time you watch them but you have to be mature about it. I actually started paying more attention to the plot rather than a woman being naked. Teens my age (16) will be you know doing nasty things if they saw it... Disgusting.. I try to examine the creators mind of how he/she tries to express themselves. Anime/ Nudity is how they express themselves I guess:)

  • @pantherandgrizzly yeah sometimes... some anime is just straight up about titillation. My first adult themed anime like Akira and Golgo 13 was something called My My Mai... it was a sexual comedy anime, I bought it when I was 15, I had a lady in the store get it for me.. I thought it was what anime was supposed to be.... I learned later when I got older but I really had no idea.

  • @csandreas Haha! Um actually Netflix doesn't give you season 2 which really sucks! Second season is on Funimation channel... I belive they are making another season this year idk.. Season 2 was all in japanese. I like english over jap but hey that's just me xD I think theres a way to watch it in english, i'l let you know.

  • It's not weird. I watch some anime that showed nudity. My first impressions were like dang!! I watched Netflix anime such as Sekirei, Girls Bravo, Shuffle, etc. I was curious about what they were all about. Girls Bravo was the first I watched and it really caught me off guard. As I continued to watch it, I started becoming more mature about it and didn't care for nudity. Yes everyone has there own crushes xD Nothing wrong actually. Creators try to draw you in by putting in nudity.

  • having the hots for a cartoon is ok when -

1 the cartoon is of legal age (no paedo)

2 if you establish that it isnt a real person (and never will be. this is not Cool World.)

3 when you arent attracted to cartoons ONLY, and make no effort to form connections with real people

4 and you gotta make sure you dont get too obsessed (otherwise #3 will happen weather you like it or not)

  • @SistaBlunt I thought it was funny that you said the cartoon is of a legal age.. lol but yeah #3 is huge... you ahve to still try to work in this society and talk to actual awesome women like yourself.

  • @csandreas well think about it...would be pretty f*cked up if someone was attracted to like maggie simpson O.o lol

and i am very flattered, thankyou, sir.awsomness :P

  • It's cool, there's no way people's attraction for anime can go wrong, so meh.

  • @KittenKoder double meh from me!

  • Haha yeah some animated girls are kinda sexy. btw were you nervous talking about this cuz you were sort of like dancing through the whole video lol, or was it just a sugar rush or something? xD

  • @AwesomeRaffi27 hahaha no, I was just hyper.. I was originally going to make an all dancing video this morning but changed my mind last minute.

  • in my opinion no. its just when its taken a bit too far

like destroying my child hood too far

god help us all if you look up Manyuu Hikenchou

  • @Omellykim well now I have to... so May God help you. lol

  • @csandreas cru---raaap definitely did that at work lesson learned.. yikes.

  • @csandreas hehe

  • not weird at all. hell you can't be straight if you look at jessica rabbit and don't want a fine peice of that...

  • @BreakingImageFilms lol even the cop wanted some of that toon lol

  • Leuroi was talking about the same thing

  • @metallicluigi who? .. I wana find this person!

  • I don't think it's weird... I'm been watching anime for years and I can talk you that those features not only attract men but also are used to for means of comedy or to make something like a serious or mushy scene less serious or mushy depending how they use it. It's hard to think serious when you have DD's bouncing about... And It's vice versa as we have animated male characters that get the heart pounding for women. I think that this is the way you can get guys to watch 'girly' anime as well

  • @ThaOddGurl It's true, they do often break sexual tension with the DD's...and fan service. Hmm wow never thought about that, it is 95% of the time used for comedy.

  • If you don't mind the disproportioned women, Sekirei is actually a really good anime.

  • @Raidei I heard that from other people. I've heard it's kind of like Zatch Bell but replacing the mamodo's with the women...I'm going to check it out. I mean I watched High School of the Dead and that had T&A up the wazoo and wound up being pretty good.

  • Comment removed

  • @csandreas One difference from High School of the Undead is that in Sekirei most of the breasts are completely exposed throughout the series because Netflix has the uncensored version of the anime. HSotD had it covered most of the time while Sekirei leaves them out in the open a lot.

  • Btw I love how your videos are geared towards getting people to think and discuss. :)

  • @AmoBytes Thank you. I've always been about discussion and having an open mind.I try to treat some videos like a forum because I love hearing other people's insights and learning. It's funny, when I started getting into this I tried to be Phil Defranco but I finally started being myself and it's awesome that people like you genuinely appreciate it. :-)

  • I don't think it's weird. I mean, in a sense, yeah it's "weird." But I think most male kids growing up developed some sort of little attraction to a cartoon character. Of course I'm sure a lot of people just keep it to themselves, but I actually remember having a conversation with my friends when I was 14, and saying I had a crush on a cartoon character. After I said it, they all openly admitted that they had either at that time or in the past as well. As you said, artists render them attractive

  • It's not weird, I have had a huge crush on Byakuya Kuchiki since I started watching Bleach ;<

  • @aymbot4gaming :-D You have good taste.

  • @csandreas hehe, thank you ;)

  • That so true !

  • @PrimusMansson I try! lol
