  • You look like a young george lynch

  • @cast390 Haha I think you're the fifth person or so to say that :p Cheers man!

  • hey very nice demo! would you tell me your setting for the delayed solo sound? i like it!

  • @zookiethe2nd Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have the amp anymore so I don't know, sorry.

  • whast the song at the end of this video called? is it sugizo?

  • That's "Birdcage" by Gackt.

  • @Ice7String Gackt is a f'n badass. Have you seen the movie he did with Hyde in it?

  • I'll search that Sugizo song out and will listen to other tracks as well.

Pretty impressive being able to use that many programmable settings on the one channel. Are there any downsides I.e. delays with switching to next patch (for want of a better word)?

  • I haven't seen any downsides really... except the 100w halfstack is a little too loud for me to be able to work the poweramp, I think the 50w would've worked better for my needs.

  • Just take out the two middle powertubes and you can use more volume.I do that with my blade, and it sounds better and of course gives you a couple of spare tubes to use if one dies at a gig.Great amps

  • I've thought about that, but I'm set on replacing it with an Axe-Fx before the year's over so I haven't bothered... a halfstack is always a pain to travel with too, and I've been getting increasingly into session stuff so an Axe-Fx would be great for me.

  • Keep the blade and get the Axe-fx for session stuff.Your always gonna need a decent amp head-i have a fair few preamps and amps, and they each have their own colours and can be dragged out to use when needed:)

  • Hm, you may be right... It's mostly a monetary issue so far, but I definately would like to own the Blade and the Axe-Fx at the same time so I could really compare the two. The Axe is transparent enough to use for FX only, so they'd work great together. I'll see what happens and how my economy looks. Thanks for the input, man!

  • What is that song at the beginning sounds class!!

  • That's a song by Sugizo called "Super Love".

  • Absolutely, the Crunch channel is pretty similar to a Marshall Plexi in my opinion. The Lead channel with less gain could probably sound great too.

  • H&K 4x12" with Celestion V30's.
