the miner's strike was a fucking war! and we LOST as we were always going to. in the face of such negative imperialistic power, what could we hope to achieve? But we dared and we did and amen after all. The world has changed so much now that i can't see any group from the 'home nations' creating a fuss these days. Who's to blame though? Mr. Ford? Mr. Blair? Mrs. Thatcher? Perhaps the system (which is practically unassailable, as it stands, i suppose) let's just hope this world isn't the last!!
Great documentary, thanks for posting. Does anyone know which Tyson, Nicky alludes to versus Nietzsche? Any comments or answers would be appreciated. Richey; For Ever For Real. LSG
I am not Welsh but I am proud in a way to say that the very first place I started living in UK was in Treforest, South Wales which is quite close to where Manic Street Preachers come from. I lived there for about two and a half years.
I do recognise some of the roads shown in the video. Wales is a beautiful country and has produced fantastic artists. Now, I realise this more because now I have been living outside Wales for nearly a year.

Does anyone else think Nicky Wire looks a bit like Cillian Murphy in this?

@Gramscifreedom I do. He would seriously be ideal for a Manics bio type movie.
