It's too bad Don was never on an episode of Hawaii 5-0. That show was always pushing the greatness of Hawaii (with good reason) and Don Ho is ofccourse one of the legendary icons of Hawaii. I would have loved seeing McGarrett meeting him. Great song ! Thanks
My husband shipped on the Matson Line, Hawaiian Craftsman, and would bring back recordings of Hawaiian groups that were singing during the early 50's. Always loved Hawaiian music. Loved Don Ho's music.
