  • That composer is GOD

  • You shall not PASS ! I rhyme fast like shadowfax! Riddle me this you bitch how's your wand gonna beat my staff!

Like if you came here to find out what shadowfax was from the epic rap battles

  • They will answer to the king of Gondor.

  • They wil answer to the king of Gondor.

  • Should Anduril & Excaliber ever were to become allies, the world would be a better place.

  • I have my limited replica Anduril up on my stair well wall with and impressive white tree of gondor tree display.

  • @thusharayarutz It's true. I've done both.

  • it takes years to make such a master piece but few minutes to make stupid rap hip hop stuff...

  • 3 dislikes? must be the orcs

  • Those who do not get goose bumps at least must be orks!

  • WTH man why are you all talking about factory-made fake swords!

  • 1:33 is the best part.

  • Elrond: Ónen i-Estel Edain. (I give hope to men)

Estel (Aragorn): Ú-chebin Estel anim. (I have kept no hope to myself)

Lord of the rings means so much to me, and this scene is just amazing. I haven't seen it for many years (sadly, I miss it :( ) but I remember this scene well, and have learnt ^^ that elvish by heart! and other bits of Elvish to. I miss Lord of the Rings, I can't wait for the hobbit.

  • @footymaster95 I melain berio le (may the valar keep you)

  • One of the best moments in the whole trilogy! I have never imagined that giving a sword can be THAT EPIC! :)

  • My great grandfather had a similair sword

  • I have Anduril hanging on my wall. It is an impressive sword at over 54" and beautifully etched with elvish writing!!!

  • @NoFNclue worth buying? i've considered buying several swords; anduril, aragorns original sword, and the sword of ibelin from kingdom of heaven.

  • @16Canadian Worth Buying!!! I got a Nice quality on for less than $100 I think. I keep it handy in case of Bear attack. That Bear will not soon forget the blade of Isildur..... It's quite large over 54" total, and of good heft, though I wouldn't use it in battle.... Coz N Fx (Ô↕Ô) Came with a Tree of Gondor wall Plaque for mounting (hangs vertically), deep etched elvish writing dow the blood groove. Unsharpened condition (easier for those long sessions "polishing my sword").

  • THE LORD OF THE RINGS IS ALSO KNOWN AS LORD OF THE MUSIC : )

  • they played it with passion, this is so beautiful it's like....i can't describe it

  • music from the gods!!!!!

  • Elrond: I give ANDURIL! The flame of the West!

  • every time i hear this music, i imagined myself as an elf of middle earth..who decided to join the fellowship with frodo & others.. instead of having glory / leaving middle earth.

  • -Andúril, the Flame of the West, forged from the shards of Narsil.

-Sauron will not have forgotten the Sword of Elendil. The blade that was broken shall return to Minas Tirith.

-The man who can wield the power of this sword can summon to him an army more deadly than any that walks this earth. Put aside the Ranger.Become who you were born to be.Take the Dimholt road. I give hope to men.

    -I keep none for myself.

Anar Náynë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo.

    Lercuvanten i móli Mordórëo.Isil

  • "Sauron´s armies march on Minas Tirith, this you know. But in secret he sends another force wich will attack from the river. A fleet of corsairs ships sails from the south. They´ll be in the city in two days. You´re outnumbered, Aragorn. You need more men."

    -There are none.

-There are those who dwell in the mountain.

-Murderers...traitors. You would call upon them to fight? They believe in nothing. They answer to no one.

-They will answer to the king of Gondor.

    *Uncovers sword*

  • They are some dumb 3 people!! If you don't like this then go watch something like Tots Tv because Lord Of The Rings is an adult's film.

  • Elrond:Sauronns armies marches to Minas Tirith as you know but in secret he sends a fleet of pirat ships.Theyll be in city in 2 days, you need more men.Aragorn:There are none..Elrond:There are those who dwell in the mountain.

Aragorn:Murderers, traitors, you would call them to fight they believe in nothing they answer to no one.Elrond:THEY WILL ANSWER TO THE KING OF GONDOR! ! ! !

  • Anduril is the best song with Rohan song of all sounds

  • omg Avatar cant even begin to compare to LOTR music..

i mean the actual movie doesnt even compare to LOTR at all.. LOTR is and will always be the best movie and best soundtrack ever :D no doubt

  • hate when people say that the stupid avatar movie is better then LOTR, it just isn't

    thumbs up if you agree

  • @xSHATTERSx woah, woah. Hold on. As much as I agree with you, Avatar is a great movie. And LOTR will alway reign THE BEST, so there's no need to bash Avatar.

  • @xSHATTERSx I don't always thumb up comments

But when I do they're about LotR

  • lord of the ring forever much better than avatar!!!

lord of the ring is more fun!!

  • "Put aside the ranger, become who you were born to be. Take the Dimholt Road. 'Onen i estel adain"

    "U chebin estel anim"

  • On the movie Narsil was not carried or use by Aragorn until it was reforge to Anduril and given to Aragorn. But in the book, Aragorn always carries the sword of Narsil with him with a broken tip.

  • Best movie score ever written. Period

  • If I owned one of the ten Peter Lyon Anduril swords, I'd play this theme at least once a week as I sit and admire the sword before me.

  • wow! :D

  • holy shit

  • La sinfonía de Anduril.. de las mejores sin duda...

En general la Banda Sonora de LOTR , espléndida.. increible.. sin duda de las mejores que jamás han existido.

  • "Nányë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordórëo".

"I am Andúril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me."

  • esta claro k es 1 lengua muy flexiva

  • You do realise it will be sooo hard to get him to do the film.

Not to mention it will cost a mint.

  • @PalmTreeLagoon

I know it will be hard dude!

What do you mean mint? $10,000, $100,000, or more?

  • sorry for the late reply. I think it will probably be in the $100,000's. To be honest I'm not exactly sure but it will cost a lot.

  • howard shore is god!

  • This piece along with 'the shire' are my favs from all of the movie soundtrack.

  • morfeas blow me asshole

  • I remember the line while hearing this music:)

Elrond: Anduril flame of the west, forged from the shards of narsil.

Arragorn: The blade that was broken shall return to minas tirith

Elrond: The man that can wield the power of this sword can summon to him an army which is more deadly than any other that walks this earth.

:) still remember it all, epic:D

  • Elrond: Put aside the ranger. Become, who you were born to be!

    Aragorn: *breaths deeply in thought*

  • @klevdud

    rofl nice

  • Awesome sword and music for the sword itself.

  • It shows honor and glory, it represents courage and bravery, it shows the glory of the sword's power that wrought unto Aragorn his abilities to be King of Gondor, ending Sauran's Bane.

  • There are many things the movie changes for better or for worse, shorter or for longer. I wish now that I had read the books first instead of seeing the movies 10-20 times.

  • tolkein is a hard read.

  • Completely disagree. The Silmarillion is a little archaic in its language and the similar character names, but The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, for example, rattle along at a cracking pace.

  • Is it possible to still see this concert live anywhere?

  • Yes

  • Из пепела ватра ће се дићи,

    из сенке светло ће нићи,

    обновљена биће оштрица сломљена

и краљ који круну нема поново ће се дићи!

  • From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

    A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king.

  • Beautiful quote

  • @FlippieX Everytime I hear or read those lines I get goosebumps.

  • @FlippieX Every time I hear or read those lines I get shivers and goosebumps, and no lie, I think I'm crying right now.

  • @FlippieX

All that is gold does not glitter,

    Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not whither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

  • Lmao, I love the french horns throughout the music in the three movies.

  • yeahhhh!!! you know of music man!!!!

  • wasn't anduril aragorn's sword previous to narsil? correct me if im wrong

  • no anduril was the original sword that cut of the ring of power from sauron narsil is the re forged anduril

  • yes i see now, should have paid attention to the beginning of the video, thank you for that, now i know

  • i dont think so. if u remember, elrond said to aragorn "anduril flame of the west, forged by the very shards of narsil"

  • no the opposite, Narsil was the sword of Elendil. the elves reforged it. and then aragorn called the sword: Anduril wich means Flame of the West.

  • wasnt it Elrond who named the sword?

  • yes, in the movie, its elrond who calls it that way, but not in the book.

  • 3 Volumes, six books

Books 1&2 are in Fellowship of the Ring

Books 3&4 are in The Two Towers

Books 5&6 are in Return of the King

  • I wish they had make one movie of each book and not volume, that would expand the story so much...

  • this is actually a very cool thought

but still a little bit weird because noone would no why there are six films

  • 1.38... very beautiful!

  • There are 6 books?

  • No... It was meant to be only one book. But it turned out to be too long for only one book. So Tolkien seperated them into three books/parts.

    Great music, I can't describe Howard's work! Maybe - undescribeable? ^^

  • Technically the story is one book. However, it was far too long to be sold as one book. Tolkien seperated it into 6 books. Each volume of the "trilogy" houses 2 of those books.

  • wrong, my friend, Tolkien conceived originally everything in one book, then split it into six books and then the publishers, because of the war, made it into three books, but each volume of the trilogy houses different numbers of books, not 2 per installation.

  • I know that Tolkien's originally plan was one book, but there are 2 books per installation in my edition and a mini-explanation as to why before you begin reading. But hey, you could be right.. my version is only about 10 years old...

  • I have two books in the first, three in the second and one in the last :s plus a huge appendix

  • My copy has all 3 published editions in one (makes a heavy read :P ) And it splits it up evenly 2:2:2. but now that i think of it that 2:2:2 arrangement might be a new thing, more organized sale. It might also depend if it is through an american print or british, etc.... Sometimes different publishing/printing companies change things like that.. has happened many times (ie. clockwork orange). I guess it is not too big of a deal.

  • As long as the text remains the same :D although American publishers are prone to weird censorship :s I have a british edition...

  • yes, american publishers definitely have strange censorship. anyways.. as long as the text is the same (and awesome :P) it's all good :D

  • Those similarities are just basic literary archetypes. You'll see those EVERYWHERE. Saying Harry Potter is a rip off of Lord of the Rings is a bit much. Harry Potter is far from original, but the books are still great works. Lord of the Rings was much more expansive, and Tolkien put in a whole lot of work to establish the world of Middle Earth, and also established alot of what we see in literature today. But both are great to me.

  • If you saw the beginning of Harry Potter then i beg to differ on one respect - Harry Potter was very original in almost every aspect in it's time. But everythin else with i agree

  • I don't understand how ppl compared HP to LotR..complete different movies/books.

both are originals and I can't find any similarities up till now.

  • the brunette at the left side oat the end, actually looked like an elf from the movie :p. Arwen's sister..whahaha

very nice vids, man...where and how did you get these? I downloaded the whole trilogy soundtrack again after I loat it several yrs ago. I even remember each scene of the movie when I hear every song. Call me a freak..but the LotR was the gr8est project I've seen and heared in my lifetime..I feel lucky to have had the chance to experience this all since Fellowship of the ring

  • please help, I've looked on the amazon and couldn't find these videos where can I download or buy these ! Amazing ...

  • where can i get those vids from ? plz help me !

  • At 1:40 what instrument is that

  • french horn i think

  • lol definetly not a french horn

  • It's something in the trumpet family. Look around Wikipedia

  • stupido it's a flugelhörn!

  • lol

  • yeah its a flugelhörn but thats the German spelling you might know it as a wing horn. Its famous for being used on the battlefield to summon the flanks. Its sort of like a trumpet or a cornet but it sounds more mellow.

  • ...Certainly it's not a flugelhorn. It's just a German Trumpet, with rotary valves.

  • Well it looks alot like a flugelhörn!

  • That Eragon series also borrows heavily from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Lucas's Star Wars. Paolini should be sued.

  • Very msny movies and books are like that, it isn't a rip of!!

  • Well, you can compare some literature in Beowulf and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

  • Pity that the public is too ignorant to actually read the books instead of just watching the movies. Not that watching the films are bad :P

  • Comment removed

  • So? Those elements are used in many works of fiction.

  • no problem, thanks.

  • can you explain me where can I find these videos please? I haven't seen these before!

  • I agree!!! Absolutly agree!!!

For me Harry Potter is a copy of all of this type of story!!

    It isn't original!

  • i would pay big money to see it performed live

  • Saw it live. Its breathtaking. Saying that, some of the solos cant hold a candle to the originals - renee fleming, viggo etc

As for where to get it - it came with extended edition ROTK

  • i'm going to on monday :P

  • yes it is

  • AMAZING
