  • When I first started making plushies, I kept trying round objects, and they all turned out horrible. It's really nice to have people make how-to's for things I'm so unfamiliar with. Makes plushie work a lot more fun ^_^ Thanks.

  • You're a really good teacher! This helped me a lot! (I'm making a stuffed Ahiru (the duck from the anime Princess Tutu) for my friend's birthday!)

Just a random thing: it might be better to chop out some of the longer bits to just make the video a bit shorter. Still an awesome job! ^^

    *answers your cat* Meow!!

    =^^=

  • @292lightningpelt I'm glad that it helped! I don't have any plans to shorten this, since that might make it harder to follow.

I hope that your Ahiru plush turns out great! :)

  • helped me make a pea shape so i can make 2 peas in a pod :)

    cockledoodledoo!

  • @nickarry The peas or the pod?

Just do what I did here but use all green for peas. For the pod, just do this style but use slightly longer petals, and only about three. :)

You could even add a zipper so you can unzip the pod to get the peas.

  • im thinking of making a stuffed portal 2 wheatley!

  • @noble6TheReachGod Great idea! I'd love to see that :)

  • really good job thx so muxh im new at sewing things and tht hope alot!! ps. room four? lol good job!

  • You're a very good teacher :D

  • Do you think i could use this method to make a small hand puppet?

  • @ManiBlacktiger7 I've started but never finished a hand puppet. You could certainly make the head of a puppet this way, but I'm not sure how well it would work for the main body.

But if you do make any progress using this method, please let me know. :)

  • @CORNSiLK Thank you! will do! ;)

  • well one would be a plush ball monster. how would u add on to the plush ball?

  • @911119yo just do exactly what I demonstrated in the video, but use the color(s) of your monster's body.

Cut and sew the body parts separately and sew them on after the ball is finished.

  • Do u know how to make a monster plush

  • @911119yo A monster can take any shape, so you'd have to be more specific. But I've made some, so I'd say yes.

This is not related to making a plush ball though. If you want to commission me, you can do it at my deviantart page (Mollydollies) or send me a private note.

  • nice i made it it came out good but then my brother came and ruined it lol nice totorial awsome ball and you look very sweet

  • @zheylagnr Eek! Well at least they're easy to make, so you can make another one. :)

  • whoever doesn't like this is weird

  • i'm making a chao named ignatious

  • thankyou thankyou THANKYOU!!!!! I have been seaching all around youtube for a good video on how to make a sphere and out of all the other videos I saw, yours was by FAR the best I loved it!!! now my plushies won't be like pillows!!!

  • 4:11 Ugh. Man. I hate it when that happens. But, you do seem to have a point. It is gonna be turned, so now I don't see how I didn't realize that before. XD Thanks! Nice tutorial, also.

  • Thank you for this. ^^ I used this to make a head for my stuffed cat.

Unfortunately, it has a lot of weird stiches everywhere. x] But it turned out okay.

I can upload it to DeviantART if you wanna see it. ^^

  • Thank you for posting this. This is so much more easier to follow than a written and picture tuterial

  • Very nice -- clearly explained and sympathetic to the problems and concerns of the beginning seamstress/ster. Thanks!

  • @chauliberty You're welcome, I'm glad that it was helpful.

  • *Speechless* Y-Your j-just like me. In every way. I'm...wow. Sister? Found at last? lol. But really though, just. Like. Me. Its kinda cool. =3

  • @ShadowxFangirl I'm kind of everyone's big sister online, so I don't mind if you want to go with that :)

So how are we alike? Do you plush too?

  • @CORNSiLK No, its not like that. I mean, we look a lot alike and talk alike, our voices are on the same pitch, same favorite color. And yes, I plush too. Its spooky, yet awesome =3

  • @ShadowxFangirl Wow, that is a lot we have in common! You'll have to show me some of what you make :)

  • @CORNSiLK lol, I just might. I've been trying to make Silver from the Sonic franchise. NiGHTS and Reala are next for me. Then Jackel for my baby bro =)

  • @ShadowxFangirl Nice! Did you know that I was credited with making the first Jackle plush? Or is that just another coincidence? XD

I'm working on NiGHTS dolls for my nieces, in between my other projects. :)

  • @CORNSiLK Is NiGHTS hard to make? I've made Reala-ish, his body, and he's pretty easy so far. And I didn't know that. Jackle made you famous? That's cute and cool =) I've seen him and he's adorable. Did you use paint to get the designe on his cloak and head?

  • @ShadowxFangirl I wouldn't say famous, but it's one thing I'm known for in the fandom. They're not too hard, but the 'horns' are tricky.

And yep! All my dolls involve hand painted details. Jackle's special because he also has glowing eyes and teeth.

  • @CORNSiLK OMG, that's so cool! Where'd you get glowing paint? You should be a professional doll maker, did you know that?

  • @ShadowxFangirl Ouch... I may not be professional, but I try my best! ;}

I do have a shop, handmade dolls just don't sell well, even though I make and sell mine for the lowest prices online.

  • @CORNSiLK I meant you really should be profossional, it's cool! I saw Jackle and I'm jealous! I cant make Jackle half as good =3

  • thankyouuuuuu for this tutorial!!! /o/

  • You are a legend! This video is going to help me out so much in the coming weeks!

  • @Peterdea I'm hardly a legend, but I'm glad that you found my video helpful. :)

  • cool your vocie sounds cool

  • thank you I was looking for something like this I need to make gloves for each hand but it will be plushie heads of two characters from persona 3. So it is hard to make and I feel lost hope your still checking this.

  • @beowulfsbane That sounds interesting, so you're going to sew plush heads onto your gloves?

Send me a PM if you want to swap tips, I like to puzzle out new patterns. :)

  • awesome vid! this helps a lot X3

  • silk thank you so much! ever since i saw your show i wanted to make dolls just like you X3

  • that is really useful... i will use it right now to make my weird plushie's head :D

  • hey, im making a kirby too!

  • i made a purple ball with eyes

  • Using this tutorial? That's great!

You should make a video of it and post it as a video response here.

  • well it not really a ball it going to be kirby:3

  • I would have made a pink ball for Kirby, unless you mean one of his other forms.

  • it looks like a beach ball

  • I chose multiple colors to make it extra visible for this video. You can use whatever color you want.

  • cute!

  • Great demostration. helpful indeed...I have that same needle holder, tomato thing. XD

  • you're good at teaching. believe it or not, and this is difficult to explain, but i learned singing from you just these past couple of days by watching some of your videos. Also, you were very good at explaining the stuffed ball making process.

  • You really need a cameraperson, 'cause I know it must be really tedious going from show-to-camera all the time.

    Nice, BTW.

  • well now you know, and knowing makes you a superstar

  • COOL!_! It inspires me to make juggling balls!^_^ BTW, I'm actually Alea the Eccentric using my sister's Youtubian name! (She doesn't mind at all so...) What a pleasure n_n

  • Awesome! Thanks for the nice comment, Alea :)

  • Yeah, last month

  • You are so generous sharing things with us!
