  • Holy crap, I've seen it all now! I knew they did some Jones, didn't know they pulled off any Haggard. Saw them in Atlanta in the 80's ;)

  • God this version of Merle's song is so tight esp when Jerry comes into the song on the hook. Love it love it love it. ~ mphsVinylJim & The Mrs

  • was there anything b4 it fades into Pig wwalking with bill or is that how you got it? thankyou

  • AW no High Time?!?!?!?!? 2:48

  • The Dead said they hated this gig. Garcia, Weir and Lesh were all getting shocks from their guitars not being properly grounded. Also, Jerry said that the amps were picking up radio signals and in some video clips you can even hear it.

  • never heard this, such awesomeness (~);}

  • LOL, I thought it was Cheech in there then. xD

  • they were getting electicuted

  • @TheShagsJam electicuted? lol

  • Look at Jerry's eyes at about 50 seconds.

  • @scottcharlesjohnson Trippin' sack.

  • I thought they tanked but it wasn't bad.

  • Too stoned to play

  • Great quality. I heard that Jerry didn't want any of their performance on the Woodstock movie. This isn't that bad of a performance considering they were most likely fried out of their skulls on acid.

  • @majicray2112 The other thing was their gear wasn't grounded properly. They were getting shocked when they would play. That hurt their performance.

    The stuff I have heard from their set, though, sounds pretty good.

  • Thanks JFrey a fine remaster. Great by the Dead and by Merle Haggard. I'll give my vote to the Dead based on better overall sound (superb playing). Hag might have had the better vocal. Best choice: Hag sings wih the Dead. Woulda, coulda, shoulda been great.

  • Man, I give my left arm to have been alive and present at woodstock 1969.

  • Tom Constanten @ 1:33

  • I will stick to Merle Haggard! This was a good group but they can come nowhere near The Hag!
