People like Barbara Bonney can sing this properly. Barbara can sing in a way that Carey will never be able to achieve, and she is pretty too. This reminds me of the time my drunk uncle tried to sing at my aunt Gwen's wedding. He was attempting to sing Usher's "Burn", then got the words wrong and strted adding words from "Grandma got Ran Over By a Riendeer" and the Spider-man theme XD That is, before he fell off stage and onto flimsy table, crunchingit.

I just about died laughing that day. But some people did. They had to be wheeled to the hospital from laughing fits and siezure

I think it is always difficult to sing a song with an arrangement designed for a female vocalist - especially one equipped with a very wide vocal range like Mariah. A male vocalist almost always requires a different arrangement. That being said, I think if you have a different backing arrangement in a different key, it would better showcase the abilities of your voice :-)

Just a comment, Whitney is easier to sing than Mariah simply cause she uses less range and less vocal acrobatics; although her songs are still challenging nonetheless! Many of Mariah's songs are nearly impossible to sing, regardless if one is professional or not!

your voice is nice but learn to control it!Many times you try to'round up'the end of a word your voice jumps around! work on the intoneation! the vibrato is really strong but also try to learn to use it when you want it! sometimes it sounds much better if you sing the note straight and then start the vibrato! but nice job!, excuse my english:)
