  • nice 2 inch ROM, do it standing, bar to chest, bar in front

    Flagged for misleading video title..

  • @utukk , banned for being a complete retard

  • Excellent strength, but the behind the neck thing scares me.

  • what gym is this, looks awesome.

  • @perlok99, Mayor's Gym in Helsinki Finland. w.w.w. mayors . fi

  • kiss good bye to your shoulders doing behind the neck presses

  • @scotty2hotty240193 , no problem

  • @scotty2hotty240193 it only becomes an issue when you drop the bar right down. The way he's doing it, is the correct way, and is safe.

  • that was kinda fail.. you need to go lower, and to ur chest not neck.. and stand up.. sitting down makes it a shoulder press..

  • @Kogrant123 if he went down to his chest it would be called a chest press.

  • great job

  • gay and thats a weak military press

  • i second what that other guy said bout range of motion, this is heavy, but more like a tricep press )

  • страховщик дебил !

  • spotter almost dropped the gun on that one. nice job tapping the bar down instead of up. dont spot me when im in the gym.

  • this not very flexible must be done lower, fuller range of motion this is good for lockout power but not full BTN press.

  • ur haircut is fukin shit

  • yeah, I know, now the blond color is however moved higher , so you probably will love it now <3

  • Ouch, rotator cuffs.

  • HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

This is a 'behind-the-neck-press' and it isn't done properly *it's because with this exercise you can seriously fuck up your shoulders*!

Show me a real overhead press.

  • @Confettikaas yep, agreed mate

  • vittu nää youtuben ihmiset alkaa hiukan kyrsiä saatana :D

  • That is not an overhead press.

  • Thats not really healthy for the Medial Deltiods. That leads to alot of problems but ur using good form and doing at least 10 reps. But i would recommend like 15 for that exercise becuase that literally leads to shoulder problems

  • He's only going down to the back of his head. I believe problems start in if the bar is lowered all the way down to the shoulders.

Looks good the wau it is.

  • good form

  • APJOOZ, obviously you don't know anything about overhead pressing. Any time you press behind the head you should never go down below 90degrees or you "WILL" eventually tear your shoulder. You can go down as low as you want for a front overhead press.

  • agreed.

  • I also agree, I do wonder though, have you ever had any problems with your shoulders from doing behind-the-neck presses?

  • you could go all the way down if you are doing a standing behind the neck jerk. but thats just because your legs throw the weight up to 90 degrees and you press it.

  • What do u think about using a lighter weight and increasing the range of motion???

  • Any further would put too much stress on the shoulders/rotator cuffs. Arms 90 degrees is fine.

  • Yeah, it would stress the shoulders, but in a same way deadlift stresses the back. I think it`s worth the "risk" to do the whole motion.

  • Rotator cuffs, brah. Ferrealz. RC's brah. I am speak frum da espeddyence.(I speak from experience).

  • to vorp33, Of course, this is just a show and building my ego. The next time I'll put up a vide of me doing with only the bar and lowering it down to my ass. Light enough and full range of motion?

  • @Vorp33 Rule of thumb for safety: tops of ears when going behind head

  • @Vorp33 that's what i was thinking

    good words

  • NICE

And awesome music on there, my man. Dream Theater kicks everyone's ass

  • probably the worst music ive ever heard

  • how long u been doin it ?

  • pure power

  • Yeah,

And I thought I was finally doing good when I captured getting 205 up once on a clip!

  • Let me know when u need a new shoulder..I think I saw a cheap pair on ebay - lol - MR

  • kova suoritus. mikäs tää biisi on?

  • seen your other videos as well great job mate!

  • good work, I do 145 pounds

  • Extremely awesome dude! Every time I think I am getting somewhere I have to run into someone like you! :)

  • Very strong...Better than I could do!!!!

  • Thanks m8, watched your vids, and am impressed. You are 10 times stronger presser than I am!

  • Miles high!

  • never want to go below the ear-level while behind the neck, you can tear your rotator cuff.... good form and good lifts

  • Be careful and be sure you have a healthy and strong rotator cuff and it will be most likely fine to go all the way down. If you do sets of ten it`s a light weight, no near max, so I doubt it will tear anything.

  • good technique !!go for more depth
