  • Nice technique!

  • Al, you are to model railroading what Kobe Bryant is to basketball. A star.

  • Awesome job Al! Can't wait to use that technique on my stuff.

  • 100% Awesome!!!

  • Another good way is Acrylic white paint, and it's not that expensive either, but I like the other way to Al, great idea.

  • @pAtOsHtRaiNs001 tehre are other ways YES. I used the white glue method and the white Acrylic paint too but when it comes down to the easiest and the best results this is hands down #1 the BEST!! No one could mention an easier, NO, a better product to create mortar between the bricks. I am sure of that. This is NOT my way either it is just a way I tried and I am sharing. Many others have used this before me.

  • Thanks, Al. You know was one of the foolish ones who paid over $6.00 at a hobby shop for a mortar mix, never thinking that Joint Compound would just do just as well. Another get tip from Al Mayo. You are the best!

  • WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?

  • Champion vid as always Al!

    Cheers

  • Another great video! Keep 'em coming M.R.!

  • Nice job and nice demo!

This compound is great for a lot of things. A hint I sent into the RR Mags, you can also use joint compound for scenics and for background and to smooth it, forget

the sand paper, use a damp good quality sponge! No dust and smooth as anything!

Thanks to you for another use for it!

  • yo big Al that looks hot! Haters will always be haters....you know what Katt Williams says: if you only have 20 haters then you need to go get 40 of them Motha F**ckers! Be grateful for those Haters! LMFAO! XD

  • nice tip al

    keep it all up

  • whats with all the haters on al.im pretty new to railroading and think his work is awesome.keep up the good work .ive seen heaps of good builders on yt and big al seems very good at what he does.

  • @aaronbed Welcome to Big al's channel, He makes some awesome clips and has great tips for model railroaders. From what i have gathered All the haters originated from his wallmart videos when he belonged to a group called train Life. The train life "managers etc" didnt like his wallmart videos and suspended or excluded him from their organisation. Something like that anyway...? Somebody correct me if im wrong. Big al has some of the best how to videos on the planet. Hes plain and simply "the man"

  • @oODubKiwiOo yeh i agree.he has some awesome vids.all the haters a probably jealous they cant do it or if they can they have the persoality of a house plant and cant make cool vids like al mayo can.im from australia so i havn,t heard of trainlife.

  • @aaronbed1 Im from NZ. I hadnt heard of train life either.. i just googled it when everyone on big als vids were bringing it up.
