Wait a minute! Susie looks like an actual human being rather than a plastic Colorform! The sunlight doesn't look like aerosolized rubbing alcohol and there's an actual sense of depth and life to this world.

I'm laughing hysterically at these comments!!! This commercial is playing during adult shows so kids aren't even watching this, so what's the big deal? This is a very funny commercial for entertainment purposes only. That means your suppose to laugh- you should try it....

I can't stand this commercial. Once again, we have kids (exploited) acting like adults. None of these kids would talk or behave like this in real life. It's gross and the tone is a bit snarky/snotty. Great, let's have a kid question the father whether he has an appointment to see his daughter... we all giggle because that's the way asshole adults behave.

@ravedog we giggle because she actually became a success with minimal help from her dad. She does in 30 seconds what every american should be taught in school but isn't instead they a taught to expect everything to be done for you and live off of handouts or do as little work as possible and demand that you be taken care of for the rest of your life. This is an awesome commercial and everyone should follow the steps it outlines to be successful.

@VoiceO1 Hmmm.... all very true.. but in fantasy land. As I mentioned before, it's all contrived as are most commercial scenarios with "prodigy" children. I put it in the same category as the man-bashing trend in commercials... me are cave-dwellers and women are the wiser. It's getting old. Sorry for the tangent.

@ravedog Fantasy land is right, and the fantasy was cute for the first hundred showings (about an hour's worth). Let's see, Susie needs a calculator for her lemonade stand (!), so dad discards his feature-laden phone so that she can add 25 + 25. Suddenly this math-impaired kid is able to wow venture capitalists with her proposal, and funds a multi-story corporate center that is completed before dad returns to a condescending return home. Cute kids, but typical Verizon saturation irritation.
