  • since its been 2 years 4months since this video was taken, even despite that the 150 soles that these two men charge was extremely to high. current price of 2011 of this month (Nov) is $55.75= 150 soles almost x8 times over the average price and since this was taken in 2009 it's surely more than $40.00 U.S rather more in the range of $45.75 possibly more for the amount of 150 Soles. WOW! 20 soles which is high in Peru was only $7.50 US (speaking in Nov 2011 of course) so it was probably less '09

  • 150 soles????!!!! what for reals? O.o wow! this guy not only paid to much but got suckered big time, probably they think he is stupid and sure enough...they were right. he should of done better research on how things run there instead of having gold fog his mind. heck these two guys should of said 500 soles and make a killin in stealing-profits hehe

  • I must correct the speaker's comment regarding the discovery of the ancient city of Machu Picchu made by Hiram Bingham. He didn't DISCOVERED it, he was taken there by the peasants that live in the town of Machu Picchu, wich is situated under the ruins. The locals new about it's existence, they saw that a gringo was interested in seeing it and therefore they guided him through the overgrown vegetation after all the leaders of their town never pay attention when they were told of it's existence.

  • viejo desgraciado...dejando mal parado al peruano honrado...seguro q' es un aprista...

  • plus he makes it sound like they sacrifice pple like nothing. The inca were not like the Maya . the inca only sacrificed people once in a while !

  • @MorL3ley RIGHT! The Inkas only sacrificed the most beautiful vestal from the Temple of the SUN INTI when it was necessary in times of great sorrow! She was not abused, she felt privileged and dressed in gold and silver (as Pedro the Cieza describes it ) would be taken to the most sacred Apus and put tu sleep for ever surrounded by her favorite possessions. Juanita was not an INKA sacrifice it was a pre Inka. The Inkas left people that they asimilated to keep with their own religious practices.

  • this guy is full of shit

first the "inti raimi" Is NOT THE OLDEST INCA TRADITION!!!

that celebration was recently made!!!! by the people of today!!

second. that guy that "discover" machupiccu was the pizzaro of the the 19th century!!! he took all this shit from there n never returned it!

third- "the only way to get across" cusco is not through asking people for ride!

he couldve taken the freaking train!!! ir he couldve gotten a taxi!!

an they would not charge him 135s/.

    this guy does not k

  • Fantástico.. desejo realizer uma expedição algum dia para me aventurar-me!

  • 150 lucas por viajar al valle sagrado? le metieron la rata al gringo!

  • With all the Gold that Spanish take away from the Incas (Peru) is easy to make a city like New York of Gold.

  • sacrificing virgins to the gods is another way of saying I will kill you if you dont fuck me

  • sacrificing virgins to the gods wtf so all they had to do was get layed to save there lives it must have been very hard to find one if the women figured it out in time.

  • "And it's where they built their golden cities" fukin lol

  • I am in love 03:51 !!!

  • Inca Kola. LMAO! Probably has cocaine in it.

  • they were killed by the inkas when they found the gold city. The Inkas tougth that they wanted to steal their gold as the spaniers did. That's why there is not part 2 of this documentary. I am just kidding guys, it is just a joke. I am proud of being a peruvian.

  • this documentary is short!

  • Man i no nothing about Peru or its people but i am all ready in love wit it.

  • the Inca's had gold, not cities made of gold. the spanish learned that hundreds of years ago. this guy is dumb if he thinks he is going to find hoards of gold

  • @cowbug3 No they did not have cities made of Gold but the question is; How come The Inkas gave soo much gold when pizarro arrived to PEru

  • @s1p1n Pizarro just took all of the gold the Incas had which seemed like a lot to Europeans who didn't have easy access to gold mines like in South America. But accounts of how much gold he actually took have been greatly exaggerated, partly on purpose to get European monarchs to sponsor conquistadors future expeditions. The Incas probably had less than a few tons of gold total (which is still a lot just no were near enough to build a city with)

  • @cowbug3 wow mr. positive ;)

  • where's part 2? very interesting.

  • @nzoomed I wonder if there is a part 2 too.

  • Wow, I'm from Peru and that guy got ripped off. 150 soles for the ride is way too much.

  • @nilo1234 well think bout it as dollars not bad.. like comparing the cab here in usa and peru.. not bad i find

  • @ernestosinh for 150 soles he better take me to the moon! for a 4 hour ride anywhere they charge about 20 soles and that's kind of expensive. 150! holly shit!

  • @nilo1234 yeah they charge around 10 soles
