  • thank u guruji..jo b bolte hain aisa he waisa hai pehle unhe aapka jaisa bajake dikane ko boliye ..u r great i respct ur dedication..itz nt a simple thing itz too dificult i know:-)

  • Nothing but Student.

  • He may play very fast but he does not have proper technique and soul to play. that's what I would for most , not speed

  • My music guru can play harmonium faster than him but tabla player is pretty good.

  • i like the drummer better

  • @vintastic319 He's a Tabla player !

  • WHAT KIND OF HARMONIUM IS THAT AND WHERE CAN I BUY ONE LIKE THAT?

  • @Daretostoppp , in any indian music shop

  • i need mobile num or any contact number of his artist ...............

  • key sounds are annoying. else good video.

  • Excellent... but why is there a video of horses having sex on the Linked Videos?

  • he went sofast he broke his harmonium @ 4:01 LOL

  • its not about the speed, its about the soul.

  • The guy may be good but not the fastest......Ever hear Ustad Farukh ali khan sb? Bro of Ustad Nusrat Fateh ali khan......

  • @usamaabbas

Exactly.... what is all this fastest and all this crap. To be a good student of music is good enough.

  • trance

  • @rabisankarb i totally agree with you.....guruji (jayanta bose)'s harmonium must be beyond the imagination of the uploader........

  • owsume owsume owsume owsume an owusme luv it million tym amazing sirrrrrrrr

  • Uploader have no idea about harmonium performance at all. Advised to listen Pt.Jayanta Bose.. And the finguring sound of the harmonium is also so disturbing...

  • This guy is good, but fastest fingers in the world!no way!!!it's Adnan Sami, who holds the record

  • Good, but neither best not fastest, as ridiculously claimed. Check out Acharya Jayanta Bose, among many others.

  • that's an intense 7:54

  • what raag is this?

  • Don't Hate Appreciate. This is really great but not world's best. Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan deserves that Title.

  • Nimble fingers, AWESOME Vibes,...thumbs up to ya tablashiv and thankin' my pal purespirit9 for the COOL share! = )

  • he is very good, but I think Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan was the best harmonium player ever.

  • This is not the standard of Indian music. Even Ramleela artists play better than this recording in Punjab. I can guarantee it. Please spare some time and come out of your dreams and listen only Punjab. It will set you right.

  • You can hear tikking of the keys... That is very anoying ... There for à poor harmonium.

  • don't know whether he's world's fastest or not...... he's just ... unbelievable......... salute his dedication and talent :)

  • he is fast.....but just see acharya jayanta bose's videos.....he is faster than him.............anyway thnks for the video.....enjoyed it very much

  • Excellent & perfect duo performance. I wonder if they ever get arthritis in their hands?

  • why the hell Indian subcontinent people are obsessed with fastest playing of something one is adnan sami who is self proclaimed world fastest piano player and we have this video and i have some local so called music teachers tells kids that he is city's fastest guitar player and other one claims that he is fastest piano player. with an instrument it is not important how fast you are playing but what you are playing.

  • @anupamdixit very well said im 100% agreed.god bless u.

  • @anupamdixit I think it might have to do with hinduism often describing the Absolute through extreme quantity and complexity and details density, instead of the extreme simplicity of the buddhist approach. Think of the highly detailed temples, highly complexe metaphysical systems, many casts, many gods, even extremely spicy food and so one... that's part of general indian culture, they like what abundant and overwhelming, it puts you into sort of a trance.

  • @rockBuilder076 well im not agree. religion has nothing to do with it. and hinduism is not related with extreem details and complexity. look at the later buddhist sects like "vajrayana" or look at the temples at angkor wat and you will find more complexity and details then hinduism. and on the other hand read "vedanta" text and you will find a picture of a simple religion. actually hinduism is world oldest religion. its a dynamic, inclussive and continuously evolving since 12000 years.

  • @rockBuilder076

    Eat my shit.

  • @anupamdixit Tell that to metal heads.

  • awesome man.. gaah paata

  • really nice..... amazing played......... thanx 4 upload

can any one tell me that what is that device between harmonium player and tabla player....

  • @sabirtumbi Looks to me like an electronic tanpura.

  • @dmanisthebest1 thanx 4 reply.. thanx lot.. ya i think that is electronic tanpura..

  • kai poy na anakalipsei tin texnologia na deis ti tha kanei!!!!!!!

  • kya baat hai yaar, shabd nahi hai iske liye!

  • wah

  • Kiya baat hai !!! Bahote khoob .

  • my goodness!

  • WAAAAAH WAAAH!!!

  • The composition should start on Khali and not on Sam... you got the whole thing wrong mate..... learn your music before making such claim as world standard... shitttt.....

  • hey don't tell world's fastest and best harmonium solo... then I have to tell u that u don't have all information....okk.... just listen pt jayanta bose...ok then try to compire....

  • awesome piece....!!!! hatts off...

  • i fucking love middle eastern culture.

  • gr8 and keep posting more, oh! most Ustads mentioned below are playing for the camels in mid-est now.

  • kya baat, very skilled player. tabla player is also very talented.

  • 1. You are making a mockery of Indian classical harmonium.

    2. You are not the fastest player int he world.

    3. You have not done anything exteraordinary to come even colse to being the 'best', there are many out there who can accomplish what you think is the "best"

  • This guy is “ORDINARY” sorry not hating, but there are much much more “

BETTER harmonium players out there.. “ USTAD BHURE KHAN, Ustad Farrukh Khan Sahib” speed does not necessarily define a good harmonium player...

  • @jaspreet6 ustad farrukh fateh ali khan was the greatest of all..the trio of nusrat, farrukh and dildar..find anyone in this world who couldve beaten them..and im from india..so no prejudice..

  • You should really change the title of this video; it's hardly accurate. The percussionist is impressive though.

  • He is playing three to four notes per tabla beat.

  • Not best but Good work done

  • Wow! I thought i was good, but i'm shit...compared to this guy...awesome harmonium playing!

  • THE BEST

  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE TWO MUSICIANS.. DON'T HAVE ANY BETTER WORDS TO COMMEND THESE GUYS, ALL I CAN SAY IS

    " BESTESTFABULOUSMARVELOUSEXCELLENT "

  • Comment removed

  • He makes to much mistakes. He has to play little bit slower in order to play more accurately.

  • Absolutely fantastic!! Hats off.

  • This is what one accomplishes if he or she perfects the Taba then jumps on the Harmonium. Its like he's playing Tabla on the Harmonium...lol Great performence. Thanks for posting!

  • YOu Shuld try with sme famous music Directors yarr, you will be a rising star of the country............! Come contact any one eithe Vishal-Shekhar, Jatin-Lalit, Sajid-Wajid, or also PRITAM.....! Just try out at least

  • ya'll niggas need to hit up some Ramdew Chaitoe, then talk bout fast lmao..

  • @Randyplp well ramdew chaitoe does play fast and his drummer too i know his songs

  • wow

  • hahah all Indians playing on D minor key they don't know how to play on other keys and start cheating by transposing other key on the D minor key. Also if you play harmonia you will never be able to play Piano.Indians and Pakis must cheat on any thing lol

  • @ziayousufzai that's not true, on some harmoniums you can change the scale tone and also use a specific scale for each raaga. You use all the keys.

  • @1Sabinaaaa I'm a keyboard player Transposing a scale in a different nor is a cheating if you play D minor scale on G Minor scale that is cheating you never learn all the scales you stack on one scale the rest of your life most Indians are playing on scale changer Harmonium i know that and i Saw that. now they are cheating on electronic keyboard.

  • @1Sabinaaaa Transposing on keyboard and Harmonum is cheating and most people ordering hamonum for their voice scale they dont ned to lern all scales

  • bufffffffffff!!!!

    SAboRRRRR ,

    TAsTYYYYY

  • Dudes like pressing random keys

  • taste less raag:(

  • "Speed" and "Quality" are two things that do not always agree. I'm not saying this guy is bad, he's quite good. But the fact is, many musicians nowadays cannot appreciate the value of spacing between notes and rhythmic phrases. People like B.B. King, Rahsaan Roland Kirk and Goerge Harrison all understand what it is to appreciate the silence in music. Music is sound, all in it's purest form, but silence can do soo much to music. Suspense, Buildups and Mental suspension. It's all silence.

  • holy shit!

drummer is pretty good as well.

  • man iv seen better at my local Gurdwara

  • :-O

  • That was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed that. The drummer (by the way, what kind of drums are those, tabla?) is also very skilled, and complemented the harmonium player very well.

  • i fucking love the tabla!

  • wahhooooow

  • amazing yaaaaar.........

  • beautiful.

  • this guy gets off, wow. very cool

  • Is Pt. Kishore Banerjee related to the legend Montu Banerjee?

  • what kind of harmonium is that anyone ?

  • i'm shocked!

  • very nice

  • whats the sitar drone thingy called?

    the white box

  • I think it is an electronic tenpura/tempura?

  • Is a electro tambura, isn't sitar. the real tambura have 4 string is a drone of music hindu.

    Sorry for my English.

  • @yoguiblog

    its not tambura...its TANPURA !

and a sitar is different than a Tanpura.

  • @killerkhalsaz

    Tambura, Tampura, Tanpura all =

sitar is diferent a tambura i know. read again my comment.

  • @tablashiv R U BENGALI,if so must watch bosensation of pt.jayanta bose.OUTSTANDING.SIR KOTHAYE THAKEN.

  • you sir are a god

  • A fantastic hamonium player. I would like to know if he come to USA sometime in future. I would love to see him play live

Thanks a lot for uploading this video

  • great..... akele ho aur chalta ho, sir apne aap ghoom jayega..........

  • How old is this video?

  • He should get a proper Harmonium, then there would be better sound

  • How the hell can he play so fast, I think i can play pretty fast but i look like dhrupat compared to this guy

  • dude tanx for uploading , u r good , but not the best , u have been watching ur fingers, and u were playing on the same scale, but over all good , nice tabla too, NO OFFENCE,

  • THE MAESTRO!!!

  • --But yes, very fast indeed.

  • aarey bhai at least cooment for the tabla man also))his hands got red)))))))))))))))

  • Maybe it's just me, but something just doesn't feel right. I was brought up very old fashion, in that I always thought that devotional songs (i.e. singing God's name) were played on harmoniums. I've been playing since I was a kid, and I've never played anything like this -- this type of music seems like it should be on guitar hero or something. Anyway, just my opinion.

  • yup ur right lol.

  • According to Sanantan Dharma, all raagas come from the Vig Veda. And everything in the rig Veda and all the other Vedas are solely for the glorification of God. Just like the breathing of man, So Hum even the raagas are meant to take you closer to god eventually. But there are faster methods.

  • I disagree with the idea that he is be considered AR Rahman. But he is an good and very fast harmonium player.

  • FANTASTIC ! The gentleman must get his due recognition, he is no less than A R Rehman and there would be many more multi talented people like him in India.

  • i hate when ppl hate on here! he has mad skills, he's very blessed with his gift! there's a reason ppl show off, there's a reason y ppl have solo's, there's a reason certain ppl stand out for a reason more than others! let them be! HE's good! all he did was take one simple raga and show the world what u can do with it! VERY NICE!

  • nice work

  • Now this was Stupendous, Outstanding, Awesome, Mind blowing, Breath taking, Marvelous..etc..etc..etc..I could not find a word to describe what amazing performance this isi can just say No Comparison ..people who have written that it is just good or average, it seems that that they have no sense of music! What hard work is, one can learn after watching this video! This is Fantabulous!!

  • WOW i Still Can't believe it is real....At 7:00 Tempo is around 315. i wonder if anybody can sing that fast.

  • @ChathaVideo hindustani vocalists (few) can sing at 315. fastest i have heard is salamat ali khan who sings taans even at 360ish pace. but i agree anything near 300 is very high speed taans, and very few singers can cleanly reach that speed.

  • Namaste.

Fast doesn`t mean the best. It is very nice, but just the technical show of. Would be the best if there would be a devotion there. A gloryfication of GOD who is a supreme musician. Otherwise it is just a sense gratification.

    Om Namaha Bhagavate Vasudevaya !

  • nice

  • very very beautiful

  • Wow wow wow

  • Absolutely dynamic! Excellent!

  • that is genius

  • I have no words. This can come with a terrific focus and practice only and more believing in oneself.

  • i've heard many harmonium solos. it needs to have a certain type of base melody to appeal to me. this was perfect, mind blowing of course. Now though, imagine if in this performance, the harmonium was replaced by a crazy man's vocals, like rahat or nusrat's...

  • How the hell can you play that fast? - Thats amazing

  • And my ustad did not only have speed but all the tunes is his like tumhe dillagi, mann ki lagan and many more..

  • Hey guys... Im shagird of Ustad Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan sahab... And he was the prince of the harmonium he got a award from bbc named Prince of the harmonium. And if u can see this harmonium have so soft keys so any ustad or a harmonium player can play so fast like him, but i have played Farrukh sahabs harmonium twice and the keys on it is very very hard! Like a brand new harmonium.

  • Good,hmmm

    just good,

but I can say better than me!the sound must be heard by listener is of harmonium but I can hear the sound of fingers tapping the keys to hard that makes lol!

  • could be better and clear , and more variety., but its very goood

  • yea the guy is fast...but he is no way near Ustad Farukh Ali Khan older brother of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan...now that guy was amazing...yea this guy has speed not only did Farukh have speed but he had way much better composition..Farukh would eat this guy anyday..and the tabla is average...

  • i wonder how can u compare two musicians like Pandit Kishore Banerjee and Ustad Faruk Fateh Ali Khan.and who gives you the right to compare even. Do u know how much hard work it takes to play like that kind of music which pandit Kishore Ji is playing nd he is a master performer in Tabla and vocal too.I have lot of regards for Ustad Ji too and u compare 2 great musicians so easily. only a fool would do so.

  • @tablashiv Don't assign right to other people when you can not for yourself. Liking of music is unique to the listener. Oh, and by the way, "U" should be spelled "You"... make the effort, look smart.

I love hearing music from other cultures. By far, still, the most impressive music I have ever heard in my life was from refugees from Burma.
