Regrettably the guys at YouTube in their great "wisdom"... have decided to remove all "watch in high quality" links. So no one can obtain HDTV quality anymore. I am sorry I wasted my time uploading all these big HDTV files. It was all for nothing.
Also there is no possibility to protest to Youtube.

Yes you can! The trick is to add &fmt=22 to end of the URL to play in high res.
You can upload files to Youtube in any format, even MPEG-2 1280 x 720.
However, I have recently noticed that play back with the &fmt=22 does not always work. Maybe Youtube is starting to block this due to server overload.
