This song had such purity and deep emotional reach for me when I was sixteen. I remember listening to it over and over like 20 times in a row on a crummy boom box back in the early 70s. It had (and still does) such an incredible power over me, yet it is said to be the first one written by the boys. What geniuses and what talent - kind of makes me feel small.

Mean Streets was a great movie with a great director, great actors and great music. I've never been much for the Beatles, but the Stones are a different story. I've loved the Stones since I was 12 years old at least. My mother got me listening to the Stones. Now I'm pushing 30 and they're still one of my favorietes.

Fantastic Brian and one of the greates guit-solos ever. Unfortunately Keith and Mick were stronger than Brian and this was his doom. Their music turned to Beat and not to R&B. Mick became the leader, Brian couldn’t cope with this situation and turned to alc and drugs

no description is needed. Brian Jones was alive, pushing the group until he sat in the corner feeling sorry for himself. Richards wasn't dosing himself into a stupor and Jaeger wasn't doing his social butterfly routine. This group went into the toilet when Jones died. .
