@astel94 i found out how to do it i just got mine today and was wondering y it wouldnt show the contacts name is wat u do is click menu and sign in but u have to have the sidekick data plan to regaster and the name will show in stead of the number hope that helps

Once you have set your fave 5 with tmobile (you can call them and set it up) you dont have to worry about them showing up on your phone, they are still free

you need the "Sidekick Plan" from T-mobile to get both the ring & names for texts.

you need to do a soft reset on the phone by pressing 1 0 and the @ button at the same time. This is a known issue with sidekicks.

You set the voice thing to vibrate. Then it should work and you gotta plug in the area code also to make it work.

@arturov08 U need to do an over the air update because when this phone was first released, there was a bug that didn't allow the phone to make a sound when you get a message. Also it only shows numbers, there is no fix for it I think.
