Note to moron in the video - you're supposed to take Pearl skins off the kit when you buy it and put real ones on, dont just tape them up. Everythin about this video is terrible. I have been studying reggae and playing reggae since I first started playing drums. Drummers like Carlton Barret,Sly Dunbar influenced me early in my history as a drummer and I've been told " you have it ". I have noticed that the drummers here on you tube that feature that style dont mention the shankin-up beat. As in 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND 4, which to me is the pulse and drive in reggae much like the keyboard or guitar rythms.
