I was a postdock at the NIH for 2 years. It was the best experience of my life. Then I decided to get back to my home country - Poland. And unfortunately that was the worst decision of my life. I do not have any possibilities to continue my research at my polish hospital and I am just 2 years behind my colleagues who during that time finished their residency training.
I remember NIH well. I was four years old and had open heart surgery there in 1962. My physician was Dr. Morrow. I heard he passed away and was sadden to hear this. He was a great physician and a great person.
