I find this rather one sided. All M. Russell Ballard's suggestions were for the son to do for the father. As in any relationship, both should do something for the other. Perhaps its just the video cut out the things that the father should do. Here are my suggestions as a son, 1.) Respect your son's dreams and aspirations. Nothing kills a relationship when the father belittles a son's dream, whatever it may be. 2.)Trust your son, give him a little credit. 3.) give minimal advice, when asked.
Way to go Dylan! You're awesome. Congrats on your graduation from LVHS. Sorry I didn't get to talk to afterwards, Sophia had to go pee pee ;-) so we just left. We did watch you walk and listened to the guy mispronounce your name. I'm glad your relationship is improving with your dad. You are both great guys and deserve to have a wonderful relationship. I'm glad you took an apostles advice. It will always do you good. Love you bud... your uncle.
