Nirvana wasn't grunge at all in my opinion. Grunge reminds me of all the other bands in that era that were just clones of Nirvana. Kurt different than the rest of those Melvins/Mudhoneywrote catchy pop hooks over distorted noise. Kurt was a total punk and loved the Pixies. If you wanna hear a band that Nrivana jacked the style of; go listen to the Pixies.
