  • @Westfak Your a few hundred years off, Einstein.

  • @Westfak Dude this isnt medieval, medieval didnt have guns. Man did you replace your brains with shit or some thing?

  • @Westfak You are a fucking retard.

  • Who knitted the very nice stripy blanket?

  • that thing u did at the start was AWESOME!!

  • beautiful.

they don't make 'em like they used to.

  • I'm planning get one. Question, can't you load all 6-chambers and "gently" rest hammer back onto the loaded chambers if it was cocked ?

  • @svn43075 you can even rest the hammer between the chambers.

  • @svn43075 That is a cap & ball revolver. If you loaded and capped all 6 chambers and then "rested" the hammer on a cap, the gun would most likely discharge if you dropped it and it landed on the hammer. However, most '51 Navy revolvers have a notch in between each chamber where you can rest the hammer safely, allowing all 6 chambers to be loaded and capped.

  • The black powder people say all steel is the way to go.

  • it was the 1860 colt revolver that john wesley hardin used not the 1851, Wild bill hickok carried the 1851

  • @SWAT487 You are correct.

  • That shotgun in the begining, i think i maybe got one of those, from my grandpha.

  • Please!, which is the name of video sound +5*****

  • Beautiful gun.

Which company did you purchase this one from.

Were you able to order it in that finish?

I've seen many originals, and am particularly attracted to when they used to make them in iron, without the brass platting.

This one seems to also have some sort of vintage finish.

    Can you help?

I know there is Uberti and Pietta.

    Thanks.

  • @katazone My Grandfather got it at an auction a long time ago.

  • @unpicked1 .....grandpa's rock.

  • @katazone all Original Colts have Steelframes , only the Gripframe was brass (Londoner Colts have stell gripframes) ...only the confederated CW Coltcopy from Grisworld&Gunnison have Brassframe an a round Barrel...The Original Navy Colts all in Cal 36(9,2mm) only the Army 1860,The walker 1847,and the Colt Dragoon have Cal:44 ..Brassframes and Cal:44 navys modern Idea of the Gunfactorys

  • @katazone from the markings it is one of the older ones they started making well navy arms did back i think in the late 50s to early 70s. its quite the pistol as the majority you see are made by uberti pieti and others these days

  • I prefer the 1858 New Army. I just like the idea of the top strap over the cylinder to brace everything up.

  • nice love black power.., 44 ass kicking power..
