"Mee shell" Pfieffer at 1:09. Ironic that he reviews a fellow governor's (Ahhnuld Schwarzenegger) movie and fellow inmate (OJ Simpson) movie. Who would have known at the time?

I agree, though, this man has so much talent and could have been President if he weren't a crook. He would have been far better than pious Jimmy Carter in 1976and probably prevented Ronald Reagan from becoming an icon.

Yeah, Eddie Boy was as crooked as the come. The difference is that he he helped others and just decided to help himself a little bit too. Other crooks just help themselves under the guise of helping the people. He was wrong, but he wasn't terrible. By the way, voting in a former Grand Wizard of the KKK would have done far more damage than any thievery. Also, Duke recently was found to still have clan literature in his home. Would you want that as your governor? Very representative. Right.

I wasn't old enough to vote for Edwin but (despite what you think of him) he was a much better choice than David Dukkke. At least Edwin was honest about being crooked unlike Mike Foster, Buddy Roemer, David Vitter, Bob Livingston, Bill Jefferson, Marc Morial, and just about every elected official out of Jefferson Parish.

Anyways, I took a civil service exam only to find that Saint Bobby put a freeze on state employment. Perhaps he saved enough money to buy his kids a dog named Checkers.

That is WONDERFUL NEWS that Bobby has freezed state hring of state employees! There are 5 people working for 5 people that work for many others. There are WAY TOO many state employees in Louisiana! I left the state in 2005 and I am very proud of the food, LSU, and most people, but it is the most corrupt state in the country...no thanks to that felon EWE! At least Duke would have gotten things changed.

I must disagree. I often say that it took Bill Clinton to make Jimmy Carter look not so bad and Baracko to make Clinton not so bad. I'm Republican, too. But only a Democrat can be a Klansman and get elected. (Robert Byrd). There's no place in the GOP for David Duke or Robert Byrd. Duke wouldn't have changed things since his KKK past would have effectively made him a "neutered" governor.

Well, the LA legislature voted themselves a 200%+ payraise and Jindal vowed not to veto it. As I said, with Edwin at least we knew we were getting a crook.
