Well, the only reason they lose so many bags is because they have so many passengers. So the ratio between passengers and lost bags would be that of a smaller airline. It would be impossible to keep track of every single bag. So stop whining.

I always fly BA. I usually fly around 50 BA flights each year and I have NEVER had a single problem with them. They are the perfectionists of travel - club world is the best business clas on the planet, the flights are usually on time, T5 is the best airport in the world and never has a single item of my luggage gone astray.

It is not just British Airways that loses bag, All airlines do. British Airways lost my bag but they found it and return it to me. I love flying with British Airways. British Airways are the best and JUST GET OFF THERE CASE.

British Airways is a huge airliner with so many aeroplanes. THEREFORE, it will loose more baggage than a smaller airline with only one aeroplane

you should look at US Airways. They lost my bags every flight I took so far. Even when I went to Europe. Lufthansa actually found our bags and flew them to Milan from Philadelphia-Frankfurt. I like US Airways though.
British Airways is the absolute best. But seriously, get off of British Airways's case!!!

its funny how virgin atlantic has also lost bags...including mine, which they refused to deliver to my hotel..but BA always seems to be the target..ALL AIRLINES LOSE BAGS AT TIMES...GET OF BA's CASE!!

Very funny. It was caused by the luggage handling systems being inadequate in the new Madrid Terminal Barajas. Bags were finally getting to LHR, but then there were too many bags all at once in LHR in the way! Hence a four week backlog. The BA lost bag database has thousands of records of found 'Large Black Suitcase on wheels' but no tags.
