  • that's why those people burned his works is because they're jealous of him. maybe..

  • Is there any movie based on Lord Byron?

  • I am an indie Film Actor, and get to play "Lord Byron" soon.. He was an interesting and awesome person from our vast past... I'm looking forward to it.. .

  • Respect to this Great man from Greece!

  • Thank you so much, we have added this to our playlists here, and on facebook...

  • Byron and Wilde are the best literary figures in English literature

  • Basically, he was a pervert. amazon.com/Should-Criticizing-People-Continue-ebook/dp/B005CD0YN8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310842107&sr=8-1

  • Byron the Bi....like it.

  • Poetry to modern music on: Poetry classics to funky beats. Wow

  • The original bad boy...and one of the greatest literary geniuses that ever lived...The more you read his work the more u see. Those dudes...his so called friends...that burned his memoirs should b hung drawn and quartered for being some of the most ignorant clowns in human history...and there's been a few!!!

  • Lord Byron is synonym of evil perfection...

Lady Caroline Lamb was very accurate saying that he is "mad, bad and dangerous to know"..

Long Live Byron.. he will always be unique in every aspect..!

  • respect to lord byron and the rest of filellenes

  • billy and mandy, ftw

  • Hey guess what? MY NAME IS BYRON NO JOKE!

  • If you like this: check out the 4 part presentation of Byron - The First Rockstar? on

Youtube.com/user/dsszerothlaw the talk was given at Lowdham Book Festival (UK) last summer. I'm doing it again soon and at the International Byron Festival next summer (June 2011)

  • Rather read his letters, or the biography by Marchand.

  • this biography is about byron's life?no,it's about his lovers, his scandals...and what about his work?his poems?his support to all the suppressed-oppressed and to the poor?nothing, just a few words...it's like i'm watching a biography about a hollywood star...

  • @supertsiable yeah fair point but his life was a very important part of who he was and why he became what he became...the guy is his life and his poems and both are connected ...but yeah ok I agree some of his poetry would have been cool

  • want this treatment on the like minded, especially coleridge, yes i know the facts, but these shows always show an additional angle that never cropped up in the general arena before, anyone assist with "ones to watch" here on utube, also if in written form, a book would be okay but i dont get on with facts lain down on the internet, but this show comes from a regulated tv station originally so can be trusted, unlike fan made vidz, again any assistance would be warmly welcomed

  • Thanks for sharing....i loooove Lord Byron

  • Thank God this man lived, Byronic Heroes in literature are always the most compelling.

    - a genius obsessed by image

    etc.

  • @Lululka

"Lord Byron: mad, bad and dangerous to know. Notorious romantic hero and rock star poet. A genius obsessed by image, sexually irresistible to both men and women. His scandals shocked the nation. Byron was a 19th century superstar fated to live fast and die young."
