Um, is this a non-religious song? I ask because you're telling your audience they raise you up, not God. I'm just curious.

well the words are ambiguous. YOU is never mentioned in the song as GOD. We chose in this instance to sign it for the families of the students who help them through their lives.  In another occasion, we signed it to GOD. In another setting we signed the first verse toward our volunteer workers and the rest to GOD for us all. HE raises me up to more than I could ever be.
