if you watch the trailer you can hear him. I read it somewhere that he will be in the game. At least they fixed the commentating because that was a huge problem last season.
@shutoutzilla37 - Not sure where the Joe Buck doing marquee games rumor came from but it's not on Sony's site nor is it in Wikipedia under MLB11: The Show. The updates on wikipedia are up to date and it was last modified on 1/22/2011. Feel free to see for yourself.
@MidKnightMellow Joe Buck is not one of the main commentators in the game but he will be commentating the "major" games like the Red Sox-Yankees, Dodgers-Giants, playoffs, CS, and WS. If you watch the trailer you can hear him.
Who gives a flying fuck about the commentators, really? All the MLB 2K series has on The Show is that the commentary is better. Do you realize how fucking weak that makes MLB 2K? You are essentially saying "The Show sure does have some amazing gameplay features, but man, have you heard the commentators on MLB 2K? You'll shit bricks when you do."
@crazymiles - Your'e preaching to the choir. I know the Show owns this game but there are a good number of Show fans out there that feel the game could use a spark in the commentating department. This year Eric Karros replaces Rex Hudler. There are a few demos out with Karros's voice on it and he does ok.
Sony has had so much success with this game to the point they're cautious about rocking the boat with changes. They don't want to mess up a good thing.
I gave you a thumbs up for trying to defend this anemic game. Get a PS3 and play a real baseball game called The Show. That way if 2K was to ever make a baseball game worthy of paying $60.00 you'll have the best of both worlds.
First off 2K9 was the worst game in the series to date making it easy to improve upon. No other sports games where that bad in 2009. Basically 2K10 won that award by default. It's nothing to be proud of. In light of being the most improved and a $1,000,000 contest, 2K10 recorded record lows in sales.
I'm not sure what impresses you about this game but it's not worth $60.00.
2K11 is the same game from last year with Halladay on the cover. Update your rosters and save $60.00.
@MidKnightMellow I am rooting for this game because I primarily play the 360. 2k10 was a huge improvement. The commentating was some of the best in a sports game ever. However, the players looked like crap and the managers would literally glide across the field to visit the pitcher. I am going to play the demos and do a review on both 2k, the show, and based on that I will probably just take my brother's ps3 and buy the Show.
@MidKnightMellow Dude your so fuckin smart. You know so much about this game. Wow. I think your the only one in the world who know how good 2k11 is 2 months before it's released.
@MidKnightMellow Visual concepts came in 2k9 and started a complete overhaul. Same group of people that make NBA 2k11. 2k10 was miles better than their first game, and if they can make the same jump for 2k11 ill be a happy man.
@Cooliorodriguez94 - I refuse to give 2K credit for 2K10 winning most improved sports game considering how horrible 2K9 was. Obvioulsy they couldn't do any worse than 2K9. I'm upset with 2K for constantly ignoring X-BOX owners who have been suggesting improvements to the game only to be ignored. What gives? Why should people have to cross their fingers in hopes this game will be better? Don't shell out $60.00 for a $15.00 game. Get this game on sale. You deserve better.
i got mlb 2k11 for 25 dollars

2k10 was a very solid game of baseball. If anyone thinks otherwise then they haven't played very many baseball video games. It's that simple.

Joe Buck is not a commentator in The Show. Eric Karros will be replacing Rex Hudler. And, yes. Yhe commentating on The Show could use a spark.

He is not in the game at all. The audio you hear in the trailer is from last year's playoffs. If you watched baseball you'd know that.

@Cooliorodriguez94 - Are you kidding me? Let's review shall we?
MLB 2K7 - Most liked by 2K fans. Still had a lot of glitches.
MLB 2K8 - Glitch fest! Terrible game play.
MLB 2K9 - Glitch riddled dissaster! Voted worse of the franchice by X-BOX owners!
MLB 2K10 - Most imporoved sports game. Offered 1 million prize but it did not help record low sales.
MLB 2K11 - Looks just like MLB 2K10 by just about everyone who's seen the trailers. Why should anyone have any faith in 2K and this game?
