The point is politicians whose support is based on religion & not the issues, then ask them question about their faiths & see if it is true and not a ruse for support.

There's clips of politicians supporting 10 commandments and when asked to name them, could only name 2 or 3 them, like the obvious ones like don't kill, steal & lie.

If a politician bases their career on religion then ask questions to see if they are truly religious & know the bible.

Bernie Goldberg is one of the reasons that I (an atheist, a very reason-oriented person, and a somewhat libertarian) like to watch Fox News programs.

Obviously in many of his cultural inclinations he is hardly a classic "conservative", nor a classic Fox News guy (see his criticism on Laura Ingraham). Still, O'reilly lets him talk and the audience can make up their own mind. I haven't observed that on leftist shows. There, either you're with us or shut up.

Juan Williams is NOT a Christian. Anyone who equates his weekly church attendance and self proclamation of being a "very religious person" with being a Christian is NOT a Christian. The Bible says over and over, we're NOT saved because we're "religious" and go to Church every Sunday. (Matt 7v21-23) We're Saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ. (John 14v1-6)

I make fun of all religions, but I assume this writer in America is aiming his writing at a Christian audience. I use Abrahamic religions when I get upset about the things they believe, I'm sure Hindus and Buddists have strange beliefs, but I don't know huge amounts about them. All religion is bad because it teaches people to ignore facts and it teaches people that belief and faith is more important than fact and thought.

Also, Christians are not lost in unthinking obedience...we are just faithful to God's word. Some of the smartest people we have ever seen were Christians...Martin Luther King, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, etc...

@MBAYMZTU Peter affirmed the right of private property. This was NOT communism, each owned his possessions. Ananias had complete freedom to use his property any way he chose. He could have kept it or sold it without sin. Even when he sold it he was just as free in the use of the proceeds obtained from the sale. He could have kept it all or any part of it. His sin was NOT the amount of money given or the fact he kept some. His sin was that he lied.

Peter’s words to Ananias not only show him to be free to use his property as he chooses, but they also clarify the freedom which all of the saints had in the matter of their possessions.

@MBAYMZTU - You are completely incorrect. Romans 13 is telling you that you need "to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience". Why do you not rob a store? B/c it is the right thing to not do that. And all leaders are appointed by God...good and bad. For instance Pharah was a harsh persecutor of the Jewish people in Egypt but God placed him there specifically to be used so God " may perform these miraculous signs"

@MBAYMZTU And as far as Revelations...you are taking it literally which just shows that you are blinded to the word. Revelations is more to glorify the second coming of Jesus. If you want to know about end times you have to read Daniel, 1 and 2 Thes, and much more. Unfortunately you will not understand it (as you have shown) and this is because God demands faith and it is through faith in Christ Jesus that God manifests himself in his chosen and reveals all and speaks through his word.

@MisterSelatcia I'll name a few..population growth of 6billion,saltiness of the oceans,slowing rotation of earth,meteor life,rings of Saturn expanding,moon dust,moon drifting further from earth,marine life fossils on almost every mt.range in the world(Noah's flood),fossils,non-transitiona­l fossils(look seriously at prehistoric man fossils)theory of shrinking sun,and that if evolution were real it would be evident.Apple trees produce apples,corn produces corn,mankind,mankind-dogs-dogs­,roses etc..

If you take your supposed claims supporting a young earth and look into the claim for validity, you won't find it to be credible. I see a lot of classic ones that have been presented by Hovind and others but the fact is that none of them ever agree with what the data or scientists say. I have a couple of references that debunk these "proofs" of a young earth. Let me know if you want me to message them to you.

@MisterSelatcia And if evolution were true it would be so evident in everything..where is the gradual transitions of all things?Example-Ape to 3/4 ape 1/4 man,to half ape half man to 1/4 ape 3/4 man...but for everything..ALL fruit..ALL animals...All plants..ALL fish,you'll find a bone and build a whole skeleton out of it,or an animal like a platapus and say it's a transition..we should see transitions in everything like 1/2 corn 1/2 apple trees..but all is so unique and produce only its own kind

The fact that you demand something that is 1/2 human and 1/2 ape illustrates that you either don't understand or won't let yourself understand how evolution works. It is very small changes over long periods of time. A good comparison I like was used by youtube user "potholer54" (and perhaps others) of a boy becoming a man. There is no 1/2 way point that the person is 1/2 boy 1/2 man, it's a small and gradual change over time. There is no exact moment of boy one min., man the next

@MisterSelatcia My belief isn't ignorant like Bernie says,it took searching to see if it's true.It's not blindly following the bible.It's testing the bible in a laboratory and weighing it with other theories..You don't have to believe it but don't call my belief faith and yours science..Evolution is faith based..It really is.Many like me have searched both sides and this one makes sense.Unfortunately It seems anymore we can't have a reasonable conversation on this subject.

How was the quote at 0:27 not fair Bill? The man was a Catholic and is now looking back and laughing at it, even some protestants find the catholic view on communion laughable. If the man was Jewish or Muslim before, then he would have mentioned something relating to one of those.
