  • i like the song

  • I'm filming my own vision of the story. I think it's still a significant message today.

  • this is why the plot of the matrix really freaks me out

  • My Language Arts class read the story., And i have to say, this is a pretty awesome video

  • I thought this was really neat! Good job man! In-spite the goofy animation the whole set up was good!

  • What's the name of the song in the background? !

  • we were just reading this in english class!

  • It was a simple but very well done video. It also gave me a better visual understanding of what was happening in the written story. Good Job!

  • Story: in the future of a time when humans perished from an atomic bomb, this one house filled with technology existed until the time it burned down. We have built technology that has the power to destroy us on its own. Thats the theme.

    Theres the summary..

  • @WLOfails Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts about the story.

  • @Captainvideo54 :D lol

  • my class had to do analysis questions on this story. The Russian form of this story is very creepy, and its in the suggestions, the skull looking robot.

  • @WLOfails I want to see the Russian version!!! Where can I find it?

  • @318daredevil type this into search bar - "There Will Come Soft Rains" - Budet Laskovyj Dozhd

  • @WLOfails Robot speaking! I am now on duty! Children! get ready for *(mind) rape* get dressed with utmost *fuck*! Mrs. McClellan! Time for your morning *becoming one with Mother Russia!*

OMG! I had both the English and Russian versions on at the same time so it was as if the Russian version was like "Tic-tok! Seven o' clock! Time to get up! Time to get up! Tic-tok! Seven o' clock! Seven o' clock! Time to get up!" ~and I'm just like *derp~ Mother Russia's got skill XD*

  • My class had to do a comparing and contrasting worksheet on this video to the story. Out of the 2 videos we watched this one was my favorite:)

  • @RebeccaVanity1 Thank you for your response, I appreciate your thoughts.

  • this video sucks

  • Rough, but it reminds me of the russian version, a little bit, which I'm fond of.

  • @janusandjachy This is meant as a compliment. Good show for zero budget!

  • Thumbs up if Fallout 3 brought you here!

  • whats the music tht starts at the beginning of the video called?

  • I have literally only disovered Nox Arcana today and I seem to be seeing it EVERYWHERE.

An excellent depiction of an excellent story, well done!

  • Loved the video - want to use it to accompany the short story for a special education high school lang.arts class

  • Though a little rough, a very good job none the less. Well done.

  • God bless you!

  • Thank you this video helped me in my class!

  • Thank you it help me with school!

  • One of the only enjoyable reads for me during high school English was There Will Come Soft Rains by Ray Bradbury. Thanks for sharing.

  • this was great i like all the graphics and animation u did

  • only 11 comments, now THATS bullcrap

  • This is amazing, really good job

  • I remember this story upsetting me greatly in school.....very well done with your interpretation....thank you for sharing!

  • This is great, despite your limitations with animation, you have produced something that captures the atmosphere of the original short story.

  • good job

  • Thanks for responding to the performance ; your film has been carefully photographed and the animation simple but used to effect . Thanks again for making it available.

  • That was very good, I liked it a lot. Thanks for taking the time to watch our version of Marionettes Inc.

  • Thank you crashroader. Yes I took certain liberties as my ability to create animation was limited, and my dog would not cooperate for another scene. So I moved the ignition source to the incinerator ,which is referenced in the scene where the dog is disposed of. The image of "dishes being manipulated like magic tricks" also prompted the incinerator being included. Maybe someday if I have a budget of slightly more than ziltch I will redo this. I really like this story, all of Bradbury in fact.

  • Neat vid. Doesnt the fire get started by a rouge tree branch that goes through a broken window in the kitchen? Interesting way of incorporating animation with real time though.

  • The way you present it is very emotional provoking which is good. Love the presentation, very well done.

  • NO COMMENTS?! YOU'RE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!

This is amazing! So insightful and thought-provoking! You did very well at the end. Great job!

  • @alphabasky Thank you for taking time to comment. I appreciate your kind remarks.
